Second ever cycle. Running Test E 250mg E3D

Tonight I have to squat again and I’ve tested and feel no pain while squatting. But should I avoid doing my session? Need your advice brothers

Pin your delts or VG’s
Whenever I get discomfort from pinning, it’s always from error in technique. This is my experience, I’m
not suggesting you don’t know how to piin.
You may have a slight subcutaneous hematoma, from using the same site too much. This happened to me in the glutes.
I would only worry if the area is warm, the swelling doesn’t disipate, and you have noticeable discoloration.
Although it sounds crazy, if you have pip, and it’s not too painful, exercise that muscle group that day.

Yes I do have warmth, swelling, and pink discoloration. No fever symptoms
Tho so I’m not sure if it’s just pip

As was talked about in the ‘best carrier oil’ thread different people react differently to the carrier oils. Is your new batch a different oil than your previous cycle?

Anecdotally, my very first cycle waaaay back long ago was Sustanon in cottonseed oil (iirc). It took me about 4 weeks +/- a week before I started developing hot itchy patches where the oil was being absorbed into the muscle. So it is possible that you’re just slowly developing a reaction to the carrier oil.

It sounds like you have an infection, which can be pretty serious and should be treated with antibiotics as soon as possible, especially if you notice a red discoloration that has lasting pain like you described. You risk possible sepsis which can lead to death, paralysis, or loss of the leg. It’s definitely important to at least have your white blood cell count taken so you can be sure, but you have all the signs of an intramuscular infection from the sounds of it.

I wouldnt jump right to that conclusion. Infections are usually hot and extremely red.

OP how about posting a pic?

I think you might be right, I’m just being cautious because there was a user in the Discord recently whose situation was exactly as OP described and he ended up in the ER with elevated WBC and went too late that he had to get surgery if I remember correctly. Just a reason getting a total blood cell count at the doctor would be a good idea, especially if the pain isn’t getting better.

You are right. I was in there for that whole situation actually. Did he need surgery though? I missed that part. OP is def better safe then sorry so it should not hurt to get a WBC count. Do you remember if the source was the same?

Planning to go after work tomorrow if I don’t improve. Would I just take the antibiotic and continue pinning elsewhere?

I am not a doctor but that does not look like infection to me at all. Again better safe then sorry so maybe you should get a WBC count to put your mind at ease.

Not sure what you are talking about with the antibiotic. I mean if the gear is contaminated I would say to stop using it all together.

If the gear itself is contaminated you’d want to stop injecting it altogether. You could sterilize it if you absolutely can’t take the loss on the bottle, but I would still be a little hesitant. If you haven’t had problems with the gear any other time though I’d say it was just an unsanitary injection in some way and not the gear itself, but would probably still want to sanitize for safe measure.

It’s not the gear that’s contaminated as I’ve shot it for multiple weeks. Most recently on Wednesday in my left quad and it’s just fine

No. I’ve pinned it multiple weeks already and it’s my second cycle. Not really virgin

When you press your finger against the affected area, does it leave a white mark for as long as if you press your finger against any other area?

Second ever cycle. Running Test E 250mg E3D

Im on week 4 and alternate the quads when I pin. My left quad is a dream, no pain, very little blood, no pip. My right quad has been giving me a hard time this entire cycle, pain when injecting, lots of bleeding, nerve tapping. This past Sunday was my injection day for the right leg, pain throughout the process, pain when removing the needle, powered through it and was done. Day went normal no pain just a chill Sunday. Monday I had some soreness in the VL from my injection pain was localized to injection site like a bruise and I powered through it and had my heavy squat day. Next morning decent pain and swelling slight discoloration no warmth, no fever. Next day was pin day, went into left quad, no pain, no blood, no fuss. Deadlifts that night and whenever the bar grazed my right quad I had pain again. Finished up it felt much better when showering with hot water and went to bed. This morning pain is about the same, more swollen, discoloration is more visible and warmth is noticeable. No fever or flu like symptoms, painful but I’m able to squat. And I’ve noticed that massaging it relieves the pain quite a bit. Should I be worried about this? Am I looking at an infection or just PIP? Tonight I have to squat again and I’ve tested and feel no pain while squatting. But should I avoid doing my session? Need your advice brothers
Its also why I stay away from pinning my quads. Its a very dense muscle with a hell of a lot of nerve endings. I had the same issue when I tried to start pinning my quads. Needless to say I never did for very long

Same, quads are the least problematic region for me. Delts are also easy but become more annoying when injecting large volumes or with bigger needles than slin pins.

I am not a doctor but that does not look like infection to me at all. Again better safe then sorry so maybe you should get a WBC count to put your mind at ease.

Not sure what you are talking about with the antibiotic. I mean if the gear is contaminated I would say to stop using it all together.
It’s not the gear that’s contaminated as I’ve shot it for multiple weeks. Most recently on Wednesday in my left quad and it’s just fine
Virgin muscle? Honestly I would say you are fine.
No. I’ve pinned it multiple weeks already and it’s my second cycle. Not really virgin
When you press your finger against the affected area, does it leave a white mark for as long as if you press your finger against any other area?
The skin bounces back it doesn’t stay sunk. But it does take a bit longer to come to its hue after being white
