Firstly, thank you for your service man.

May I ask why you didn't laywer up?

At your peak how many hours would you say you were working a week?

Also, how much of your own supply would you use before and did you start taking steroids again after prison and if so how soon after?
Well, before I left for China I called a prominent lawyer known for kind of being an expert in the fitness industry supplements/steroid laws. He wanted $45k. I called another lawyer in Houston who referred me to a guy closer to me, they wanted $25k. By the time I got back from China I just didn’t have any money left. When you get caught red handed like that there’s only so much they can do to help you. It basically turns into a negotiation for your plea deal. I could not have avoided prison time no matter what. But I do think if I had had a lawyer that just cared a little bit they could have negotiated for a plea deal that didn’t include that firearm charge which was really in my opinion an inappropriate charge for my case.

It’s hard to say exactly how many hours a week I was working.. I was a full time student the whole time. I answered emails all day, that’s no big deal it doesn’t take much to do that. It would take me 2-3 hours every night to package orders from the day to be sent out the following day. And on Saturdays and sometimes Sundays I would do my brewing/vial filling and that normally took 4-5 hours. I paid a friend of mine to make the capsules for me so that was a huge help. My steroid use was fairly moderate. I was blast/cruise. On blast I ran 500 mg of test e and either 500 mg of npp or 350 mg of Tren ace. That’s about it. And I haven’t started back on anything.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, from somebody who knows nothing about distribution, it's very interesting to hear your story and perspective.

The re-shipper network, is that something you can dive deeper into? If not, totally fine.

Thanks again, and glad to see you are out and making your way back to the best you can.
They were people panda knew, I don’t know much about it to be honest. He shipped my raws to whoever it was, once the pack landed he contacted me for a forwarding address. The guy might have been a real estate agent or a landlord I do remember him telling me one time that he had over 20 different addresses to use.

Thanks for all the valuable info you’re putting out here! It’s not everyday you get direct experience insight like this.

For both a supplier and user, what opsec measures would you implement today? I see you said this was an aspect you failed in and should have been more conscious of.

Umm definitely not use fake return addresses first of all. That was the spark of my investigation. I probably wouldn’t ship every day either, and definitely not from the same places over and over. Drive off an hour or so away. It would be a hassle but it would be safer. Or better yet, just move everything to China, spend a year or so there getting everything running smoothly, and then go anywhere in the world I feel like. Go back to China once a month or so to check on things. I don’t really know man some labs have pretty intricate operations involving multiple people across different states. The brewer is in North Carolina, the shipper is in Nevada, the reshippers are in New Jersey.. that just wasn’t me. I don’t even have that many friends.

@Theotherguy1987 when you were a source, did you ever have a fear or concern that somebody ordering from you was LE and part of a sting operation or something? Just curious to know if this is a valid concern for sources, or if they ever thought something like this could happen and be an issue.

Thanks!

Umm no not really to be honest. I mean I’m sure some cops ordered from me here and there for their own personal use lol. I don’t know that for sure but I wouldn’t be surprised. The dea just doesn’t really put a lot of resources into hunting steroid dealers. But the way I always looked at things is if they really wanted to find me they could. There’s nothing any of us can do about it. 100% guaranteed if the Feds really want to find someone they’re going to find them.

How was coming off the blast cruise in prison?
I stopped everything like 2 weeks before I came back to China and ate a bunch of Clomid in those 2 weeks. If I went through a time of low t I don’t think I realized it. It was a stressful time period I don’t know what all I felt and what causes it

Nah they’re definitely not going to give you anything like that. No chance of getting TRT or pct while you’re incarcerated. Thankfully I do feel my body bounced back from it though. The medical care and ESPECIALLY dental care is pretty poor. The medical staff treat you like an inmate. Not a patient. They can be extremely rude and dismissive. I am fortunate enough that I have perfect teeth and didn’t need any dental care other than a cleaning which I did eventually get.. but as you can imagine there were a lot of guys that had super fucked up teeth or none at all and they won’t provide dentures or root canals or anything. But here’s the sad truth about everything, and this is no excuse for the medical staff being the way they are but I can sympathize with it to a degree.. the inmates collective behavior ultimately makes them have a bad attitude. They don’t see inmates as individuals, we’re all just the same to them. And a good number of them are just complete garbage human beings. They’ll go to medical faking ailments trying to get medical issues documented, they go up there demanding medicine for one thing or another. So anytime someone goes to medical it’s met with a high level of suspicion. Just as an example I knew this trash ass black dude from New Orleans, I’ve never met anyone with more of a sense of entitlement as this guy, he faked a heat related illness. Made a big fucking production of it, they came down with a stretcher and everything. He was fine the whole time.

I honestly don't remember if it was my fault or the customers. I'd had both issues happen in the past. I remember one guy asked me to put his name as Charlie Brown 🙄. Most commonly when I had a return to sender it was due to lack of apartment number. And like I said I forgot to put it a couple times and there was a few times the customer didn't tell me the apartment number.
Sorry for not understanding all the legalities here but what is the big issue with a return to sender or a fake name triggering an investigation? Why would this trigger something?

Is it simply because it looks sus or is there something bigger I'm missing?

So the DEA pretty rarely hunts steroids.. most people were caught via a different investigating agency. Mine was the postal inspector. I had a returned to sender with a fake return address. And that's how it all got started
Postal inspectors are federal agents. They also have far far reaching and very broad powers and legal leeway. They can quickly coordinate with one another all around the country with speed and efficiency that DEA can only dream of. They also employ computer hackers and can kick off investigations aided by local law enforcement and open mail in transit without a warrant from a judge or any input from federal prosecutors. Snail mail is easily the most risky POTENTIALLY but it's considered the best option. I prefer UPS having worked for them personally but no one agrees so *shrugs*

Postal inspectors are trained to identify drugs being sent via the mail and one of the biggest giveaways are bogus named and return to sender addresses. It's common sense, who would send something in the mail like that? The postal inspectors also know of course what kinds of packages are usually used to send drugs. Nobody sends gear in envelopes or huge boxes right. They can open any mail they want no warrant needed. This is why it's crucial to use a good name and address when you order from a source. They can easily cross ref the address and see who lives and has lived there. Don't draw attention to yourself whenever possible. Don't stand out.

Not sure why the poster you replied to doesn't understand this concept. Fake name screams guilt and most if not all carriers aren't leaving you jack shit anymore without said fake name being on your box. Not even worth the hassle to play games.

That makes sense. Thanks for the explanation.

I guess I just never thought of it like that since it never crossed my mind to use a fake name. His reply makes sense though.

Damn, this has been one hell of a thread. Thanks for taking the time @Theotherguy1987

It sounds like by using a real name when ordering, and ordering from a source that will tightly package shipments so it's difficult to identify the contents as gear, that end users shouldn't stress too much about being busted: would you agree?

Your post wasn't directed at me, but I am awake for some reason and figured I'd reply lol

It's good to use sources who have well reviewed security features when they ship. Though nothing is guaranteed and if source is being watched your package may end up under scrutiny regardless. Do NOT use a fake name. If you've read through this thread a lot of issues arise from doing so. What difference would it actually make? At the very least that can come up while using a fake name is your carrier doesn't recognize the name so they don't leave the package then you foolishly call and play games and maybe then they'll want an ID before release. Then what? Maybe they flag the address as they see packages come in for a different name? Who knows? Regardless it gives you a false sense of security and accomplishes nothing.

Never man. My email account got taken over and some one was still taking orders after I had been raided. I assumed it was the feds but then they accused me of it. I guess it was a really well timed phishing scam I really don't know though. I tried to log in and delete the account but my password was changed. You know I didn't eat much commissary. I tried to here and there but the sodium content in most of that stuff is so high it would like fuck me up and make me feel hungover. I'm eating pretty good now. I'm surprised anyone found the article it didn't come out until like February a couple weeks after I actually got arrested and it made no mention of my lab name.
there was a fed making some extra money off your email
