Looking for some meal ideas. Currently full time electrician + school and I like to make a shit load of PBJ / 1000cal weight gainer shakes/high calorie loaded soups

Looking for something quick and packed with cals and protien hit me with your go-to’s!

I knew an ex-con that swore by putting canned chicken breast into a package of Ramen noodles for the best post-workout meal. I'm gonna try it since it sounds tasty and seems to have the macros to be worth a shot.

Way too much sodium. I was looking for actual food, ramen + the packet does nothing for you. It’s quite literally empty carbs but I guess it is quick. Even still, I stay far from ramen

Do you like cold meals or hot meals?

I rotate making asian cold noodle dishes with extremely thin sliced pork or beef as the protein and sometimes added chick peas for extra veggie protein. I do a "dry" stir fry with no sauce and make a dressing for it to use when I'm ready to eat

Hot meals are basically same exact thing except I do a normal stir fry and when I'm ready to eat I zap it in the microwave.

That or good ol chicken and rice... Oh, if your local market has it, get barilla protein pasta for the stir fry, and swap it with the rice. If your bulking anyways haha

OR go early 2000s and blend orange juice and tuna fish hahahah

In the pen it’s called a spread. You can use sardines, chicken, tuna, mackerel, etc. I’ve eaten plenty of em when I was locked up. Instead of using the flavor packets it’s better to use a hot sauce or anything with a lot of flavor and not all the sodium.

Sardines is a better go to than tuna if you do this a lot. Sardines have the protein, good fats, and not all the mercury.

Fuck the bones, 2 cans is golden for a cycle worth, also the skipjack tuna species is just above the scale when it comes to methyl mercury in sardines, just stay away from Albacore species. Also 100% agree with the hot sauce, I put the ol Rebel California reaper sauce on near everything.

Hey Bubba do you guys have kipper snacks south the Canadian border?

2-3x per day depending on how lazy I was about eating real food I will blend up 2 cups oats, 2 cups cereal (Whatever I currently have), and milk (~8 ounces probably) for a ~1100cal shake. It's easy to chug and tbh the flavor is fine.

Gallon of milk daily is a life saver if you're not big on eating food.

Filet mignon is pretty much the only steak I will eat now unless they're sold out when I go shopping, charcoal grilled up to 130* with the lid closed so it kinda smokes it too. It's like eating water it's so soft.

Not gonna lie, pizza is a big part of my diet as well. It's hard to argue with the thin crust pepperoni at Little Caesers especially when the gym I go to is in the same lot as LC's. 9 bucks and I think 2300 calories, 100+ protein in it.

I used to try to limit 'junk' and follow advice of the 'Chicken, broccoli, rice' crowd online but I quickly learned that with drugs you don't need to eat like that if you're not stepping on a bodybuilding stage. I stay lean enough all year and do my best to not force feed nasty shit. Those oatmeal cereal shakes are the 'nastiest' thing I currently consume and tbh they are not bad, and if they didn't thicken up when left to sit for a few minutes I would sip on em instead of chugging them.

I try to stay near whole real foods. feel better even if its just mentally.

for my shake I put 2.5 cups of lactaid milk, 150g oatmeal, 150g peanut butter, a frozen banana, and a splash of heavy whipping cream. thats 900 cals and 40g protien in peanut butter alone. its literally my biggest go to lmao i try to drink 1 a day.

total nutrition roughly 2100 cals, 85g protien. and thats without adding a scoop of protein powder

I make a soup thats like 1lb of cheddar cheese, 12oz broccolli, a whole rotissery chicken shredded up from winn dixie, 2 cups beef broth, 2 cups half and half... and whatever else u wanna add. its a hefty fucking loaded recipe and its so filling

i had to learm how to eat like this from being a construction worker who works in the sun for 10h a day and takes adderall lmfao

It's worth considering that you may in fact already be 'doing the best you can do' as well; Are you currently trying to bulk? It may be simpler to adjust other variables than food for you. If you're trying to bulk, might wanna reduce volume in the gym a bit and free up some calories to be allocated to creating more tissue. I personally reached that point myself when I realized that even taking in ~6000cals daily at my peak I still was not going up in weight and I was also gonna vomit profusely if I even looked at more food. So, dropped my work load to reduce the calories I burn and the scale began moving up again. After a bit, I leveled off and could go back to higher volume sessions with the same intake but the scale didn't drop back down. Maybe it would work for you as well? I don't know the science behind this to offer up , just the experience I've had.

burn probably 2000 or more calories a day at work. I quite literally am balls to the wall in the sun while on amphetamines so... yea. I definately need atleast 5k calories per day. im 6'3 and 185-190 atm. heaviest I was at was 205ish during last cycle 5 years ago. quit going to the gym bc I wasnt sleeping or eating enough and my body was not recovering enough to have a productive day at work + school. So Priorities got in the way. After I started force feeding i started gaining again. im getting dialed in to my sleep and diet for work and school, then hopping on a 5x5 in the next month or so Then 3-6 months when my old gains are back ill blast something. ideally once school is over it would be perfect. I just came back bc its time to stock up/ do more research as its been about 5 years since i blasted.

When I was in grad school, I lived in DC and my campus was in Baltimore. Four days a week, I left home at 5:30 AM and got home a bit after 8 PM. I also had essentially no money, because it's grad school.

I practically lived on boiled eggs, bulk raw almonds, and raisins. I would also bake chickens and sweet potatoes for quick dinners when I got home... can microwave or, if you're lazy, just eat them cold. And of course, any ground meat with rice -- dress it up with tomato sauce, onions, peppers, spices, herbs, etc. if you want, or just devour it like a savage.

If you get in this habit, I'd strongly suggest that Metamucil or Miralax enters your daily routine.

Sorry. I meant 1 scoop. That's the ratio. I chill this in portion sized to have ready to eat. Often put nuts and fruit ontop.

I get the frozen bags of diced sweet potatoes, toss em in some avocado oil and seasoning and into the air fryer for 15-17 mins on 400 degrees. I throw in 8oz ground bison or sirloin, top with cheese and sriracha.
