So my streams always comes out a light yellow so all would seem normal but today I pissed in a cup cause no gas station nearby and again light yellow stream, but in the cup was a very deep orange. I’m assuming this is the sedative from my pee resting at the bottom pulling the color through?

Ah, I remember my first cycle and being paranoid.
You’re fine, orange is a pretty normal color and can be based on numerous factors. Most likely you’re just a little dehydrated or it’s something you ate/drank recently. I know after popping multivitamins I piss orange for the first two rounds but then all is normal again. You’ll feel intense pain in your abdomen, have visible yellowing of the skin or eye whites or nails, or be vomiting unnecessarily if you have anything actually wrong on the inside relating to this lifestyle.

Orange color precipitating out of the liquid and leaving a residue can also be from iron in urine. Completely normal w/ or w/o gear.

Haha Sorry I think I was having a heat stroke at work when I asked this seeing as I said sedative instead of sediment lmao.

What I was trying to ask is what actual component in orange urine causes its coloration. Which I believe @sebanwit answered for me gracias
