bros i’ve been feeling like shit mentally, physically, I get gas and bloat from anything I eat that the drs are clueless about, my skin looks terrible and I’m seriously considering going no food for a week

i’ve heard that fasting can reset gut health etc

i’ve tried different stacks or just ran test so it’s not the steroids

I feel like drinking smoothies and protein shakes defeats the purpose

am I being psyoped because eating healthy and cardio hasn’t fixed anything and idk what else to do

how much tren do I need not to turn into a toothpick and what about bone broth, electrolyte water or ginger shots etc?

thanks

Sorry to hear you aren’t feeling well, I know how frustrating it can be to not feel good and there seem to be no good answer.

Doing a fast me help reset things, but have you had any extensive bloodwork done to try and diagnose further? Assuming so since you mentioned docs, but figured worth double checking.

What you might consider is trying to improve your gut micro biome health as well cause something definitely seems off. What does you diet look like, are you tracking your fiber intake to make sure you are eating enough of it, eating fermented foods (kimchi, tempeh, Natto are all good), getting in some kefir daily. Inulin from artichoke also has shown to cause material changes for the better in gut microbiome.

Just throwing some ideas out there so you have a few different things to give a go. Hope this helps

I just don't find not eating for 8+ hours fun. I look depleted and feel like shit. It's about calories in, calories out. If you need to force yourself not to eat for 12 hours in order to eat less, I would consider addressing the overconsumption issue.

Well OP we all tried to tell you not to take the damn covid jab.

Jokes aside, I have had similar issues for years but I've got relatively bad GERD anyway and knew about it and just kept eating how I want because I'll take a tummy ache and a few episodes of waking up with acid in my throat overnight for a 2k total in comp. I'll change my ways when I hit my goals, but until then I'm just riding it out. You've got gas issues, go take a gas medication. Bloating? Pop a diuretic and get a gallon of water and flush yourself out. Cranberry juice optional, tastes better though IMO. Suggest laxatives too, really evacuate the whole system.

Once you're cleaned out, start making a list of what you eat every day and note the foods that you felt pains after eating. Get a decent list going, track it for a month or so, purposely try to eat a big variety of foods and drink a variety of liquids to get a good list going, eat and drink some stuff multiple times to track if it hurt sometimes, all the time, none of the time, really focus on compiling a good chunk of data. Next, go to a fucking gastroenterologist and present your intake log so they can look for a trend in the data and try to isolate the problem. My top three guesses are appendix, pancreas or gall bladder not necessarily in that order.

for a 2k total in comp.
Whoa! Man, that’s a lot of words when you had me at this ☝️ right here.

I did not know that before. I’m going to go back and read all of your previous posts. I have some new respect for you now. You know a thing or two.

Eh, it's just numbers and this is just the internet anyway. I'm sure most people think I'm weak, fat and retarded behind the username anyway and that's fine with me. I drop a mention of my numbers whenever there's something I am hoping someone takes seriously like OP here with his serious legitimate medical issue that is likely a sign of a gall bladder, pancreas or appendix issue which long term won't just get better on it's own. "Harm reduction forum" and all.

Fasting is like cold exposure, highly debated and loots of good anecdotal reports , it's certainly not going to build you more muscle in the short term, but maybe the downstream effects of both fasting and cold exposure can improve nutrient absorption if you are experiencing any intestinal inflammation , that is what I find

does a lot for my gut health , if I get out of whack from eating stuff I shouldn't have ate, a 12-24 fast does wonders to reset everything. Beyond that there is the mental component which I think has value, as well as long term health benefits of an extended fasts (48 hrs +) ; autophagy and all that

if you're on anabolic compounds there is really no risk of lost gains so what do you have to lose, go look for yourself.

stop eating foods that cause you to feel like shit , chance are they're decreasing your performance , meat and rice are tolerated and neutral to the gut . thats what works for me, if I eat anything outside of my usual meals of beef / chicken and rice ( or squash / occasionally potatoes ) I am performing sub optimally, and if I do it continually I will certainly feel like you're describing

Personally I find fasting really beneficial and I fast in the mornings and have my first meal around 11am or 12pm, then eat every two or so hours until it's time for sleep. I think giving your digestion a break for the night and morning is a good idea.

But who knows.

I know it's helped me keep my IBS/crohns symptoms at bay while I push food up. When I woke up and ate right away I didn't seem to react as well to foods and often spent hours a day on the toilet.

Psyllium husk is awesome. I barely need to wipe when I'm running that stuff 😂

Sounds like you need an appointment with a gastrologist and not a GP. Sometimes some really strong and good probiotics can fix things, sometimes it's a h pylori overgrowth, among 100 other things. Fasting can be helpful for some people but doesn't reset the gut flora, most of the benefits come in the form of autophagy.

I’ve done a 48 hr fast on nothing but trt came out fine no noticeable muscle or strength loss felt great after. But there really isn’t a need for it I did it because something terrible happened and I completely lost my appetite for 2 days ate literally 0 calories and was in a zombie like state just working and staying in bed all day during those 2 days. After I ate some carbs worked out and felt fine.

It's a personality thing. Some people like extremes & strict rules. I'm a recreational bodybuilder and two days of fasting seems like a lot of missed opportunities to eat for muscle gains. Maybe minutiae in the long-term. Or promoting an eating disorder (which we all probably have to some degree).

I didn’t do it to cut lol. I don’t believe in intense cuts I usually aim for 1 pound of fat loss a week and I’m growing while cutting right now.
