Ah, if I could post personal stuff/add y'all to my socials to share my pre-gear progress and training logs this kid would flip his shit at what is actually accomplishable without gear.
OP you do not near gear at 17. From ~13-23 our bodies are at their absolute natural peak and you can build so much fucking strength and mass in these years as long as you're eating, training and sleeping. You have the luxury of living at home with mom and dad still I bet, so sleeping and eating should be no problem; Sleep all day, ask em to buy more shit to eat and go at it. If you can't handle more solid food, add 1/2 a gallon of 1% (or 2% if there's no 1%) milk daily to your intake and watch your body blow the fuck up. Natural growth cycle + lots of food + lots of sleep + training at least moderately well is gonna get you bigger and stronger than most guys who hop on gear tbh. It ain't magic, and most dudes on never look or lift like they're on and it's usually because they hopped on before building any sort of base naturally.
Look up a general idea of 'Powerbuilding' (Powerlifting and Bodybuilding mix style of training) and get at it.
