I know a good number of gay guys who are into bodybuilding or generally getting bigger / more muscular, and there are many gay online communities centered around bodybuilding, muscle, muscle growth, etc, not to speak of more general "fitness" / working out types. So, I was just curious if there is a nice amount of gays here too or if SST is quite straight?

I'm going to guess that the answer is yes, but they're not openly discussing the lifestyle. I remember when SST was on reddit, there was a pretty large group of folks on the off topic threads who would post about the lifestyle and navigating gear usage and what not from that perspective.

I don't think you're going to have much luck here though. Most of the folks on this forum take a more gender affirming approach to their gear usage, as a facet of their masculine protest.

Making space for gay people would mean that they would also have to admit to themselves that it's okay to be gay or bisexual, and they're simply not ready to do that.

Ever thought about it that this happens because in our society, being straight is the norm? I don't have anything against this norm, but it still means I need to make clear to every girl who wants to touch my arms that I'm not into her, still had to tell my conservative parents that they will not have grandkids, etc. So yes, I need to out myself to get out of these weird situations. Also, sometimes it seems straight guys on steroids are just fucking jealous, because I know so many who can't get a girlfriend because very few girls are into roided mass monsters, while every muscular gay guy can have all the sex he wants.

But whatever, why is it always straights in small towns who think the world has become so gay, so womany, so trans, full with illegal Nicaraguans, whatever, even if no gay / feminist / illegal immigrant lives in their village of 500 schmocks anyway? I was just curious, and I got a few responses. That's all I wanted. Also, how much validation can I seek when I'm totally anonymous? It's not like I'm announcing it on instagram or facebook with my real name visible. Btw, another guy asked many months ago where are the ladies at in this forum. All the horny straights just waited for the few women to respond so they can write them private messages. Nobody thought this is out of place here. Because for all insecure "no-homos" among us, that's ok. But how dare a guy say here he is gay - that would be inappropriate here. It's the same people who complained "why do they need to make it public, nobody cares what they do in their bedrooms", when e.g. Carl Nassib or Colton Underwood in the NFL came out as gay.
