Not every guys wants a bubble gut and to be over 200 pounds.
I just wanna say that I’m 200 in my avi and currently sitting around 210-215. I consider myself small by almost any standard except someone who literally doesn’t lift. 200 lbs is not extremely heavy unless you’re really short, but I don’t know your full stats.

I don’t know… I’m basing everything off the average size and weight of most men that aren’t fat asses. If you think you are small at 200 then how tall are you? Like 6’5? I mean 200 pounds shouldn’t be small to anyone unless you are tall and skinny and still weight 200.

I’m 5’7 and super small boned. So my muscles look much bigger than most guys that are heavier than me. My max bench at one point was only 260. So I’m not some strong man dude benching 400 pounds.

I don’t think I’m super tall, but 6’2 so I do have some height for sure. At 5’7 though I definitely consider you on the shorter side bro, no offense, so 200 lbs would probably fill you out pretty hard tbh. I think my perception of what weight looks like on different frames is pretty skewed though.

No doubt I’m not a tall guy but my buddy is the same height and thinks I’m taking more “gear” but yet we were on the same exact dose". He also is in his 20’s and I’m in my 40’s. His friend is pretty tall like you but is my weight and literally just started lifting and already hurt his shoulder… that sux.

One thing for sure if you are looking to look big the smaller you are the easier it is. Tall guys tend to have a hard time “looking” big even though they are strong. Like Arnie at his best was an absolute beast but his peak was probably 74-75 and he was 245 on stage or something like that. So if you think you aren’t big, add 30 more pounds… and you’re Arnie’s size. He has a tiny waist and little wrists too which made his muscle look bigger.

No doubt bro you are absolutely right, and a few days ago I actually started looking at arnie in specific again, he’s about the only example I know of taller bb’er (not really been in the bb’ing community much or internet in general) and he doesn’t even ‘look as big’ as some people I’ve seen that are 5’6-5’9 and it’s definitely because of the frame. I think I just have unrealistic expectations of what I should look like at certain weights because it’s hard to tell a lot of peoples height in a picture online. It’s really like being a sculptor and doing the best you can with the materials you’re given I think.

As for your buddy, he did the same thing I did when I first started lifting, lol. I spent the better part of 6 months unfucking 3 months of terrible pressing movements damage to my shoulders. Longer lever arms make it a little easier to fuck up form imo but I’m probably biased lol.
