What’s up everyone. I’m a 31 year old male 5’9” 191lb. I have been lifting since I was 21. I currently lift 4-5 times a week and eat at a caloric deficit for some weight loss and making great progress. I am looking to go dark. I am not looking for any rapid growth really. I kinda just want to grow at a steady pace with as little sides and stress placed on my body as possible. I am considering var, but everywhere I look people are saying to run a test base. Is this really necessary? I was watching some Mike Israetel videos and he said for var only, test isn’t necessary as it does not shut down endogenous production completely.
