Why do 90% of sources only use MCT?

I see more and more people saying mct doesnt agree with them myself included, it leaves huge lumps. It seems MCT is the default carrier oil of sources and maybe 2/10 offer GSO. On youtube and even on here ive heard of peach oil, arach oil, peanut oil, and so many more but have never seen anything offered outside of MCT and GSO. I have been frequenting only SST and Meso for the last 7 years and havent seen anything other than those 2. Why do source only stick to one oil? I ahve to go with Gso and out of nearly the 12 sources here only 3 sell GSO. why not diversify oils sources?

Laziness? More cost effective? The latter especially for those that do consistent lab testing. Offering both oils means twice the testing costs.

Laziness probably isn't the right word there, but I would guess those sources that only offer MCT don't want to get bogged down with more work and inventory than they feel is necessary.

Very few people have poor reactions to MCT compared to Mig840, GSO, or even CSO. The others you listed are far more difficult to acquire in bulk on pharm grade.

Also, it's not a cost thing because MCT is more expensive than GSO.

I specifically buy MCT. Grapeseed is so thick, it's a pain to work with. Many people also now inject with 30g pins which is a huge bonus, and impossible with grapeseed.

Impossible? Did it 3x in the past week with a 30g insulin needle. I have GSO gear from 3 different vendors and have no issues drawing or pushing with 30g. Drawing is slow though.

I guess not impossible. Pushing so easily is 100% the reason i made the switch though. I don't have that kind of patience or steadiness. How long does it take you to push and draw 1ml?

I don't draw 1ml of either MCT or GSO with 30g, I draw the line at .5 ml. Like you said, no patience for that. I draw with 21g typically, sometimes 25g and either change needle or backfill insulin needle. For pushing, I don't time it but it pushes at about the speed I'm comfortable with. In other words it goes about the same speed I would be pushing even a 25g at even though the 25g could push faster. Hope that makes sense.

I've been pinning 23 gauge to the quads every three days since forever. I get the allure of tiny needles; but bigger pins don't hurt more (more scary maybe), and I've never had a problem with scar tissue or anything like that. I think there is more to scar tissue, like user error or maybe some people are just more susceptible to it.

I use 23's mainly for convenience. Personal preference. If I could pin as easily with 25 or 27 I'd use them instead.

Wondering what larger pharma companies use as carrier in industry. Anyone have some insight into?

It does make more sense. I still use 25g, and never tried to backfill. I would heat up my GSO under the sink to draw.

I've heard since forever that you need to push the oil very slowly. Since switching to MCT, I unload .5ml in 20ish seconds or 1ml in 30-40 seconds. I've never tried to push faster than this, but speed is not an issue. IMO the vast majority of the pip for me comes from the needle shaking around for longer in your muscle, not putting a fresh needle on after draw, or a bad brew in general. Speed is a friend.

Cotton Seed Oil is currently being phased out and primarily using MCT.
