I feel Ike most of the shit out there is bunk. Do any of you have a legit multivitamin you take that you know is good to go?
Just training for old age broI think Theres a lot of choices & you can easily go overboard with supps. I have cut back a lot on them because I had a AM, afternoon, PM pill container with about 6-10 caps in each one at one point & was like WTF am I doing lol.
Haha well im ready if that’s the case.Just training for old age bro
They are all pretty much the same affect wise. Just pick one that has a decent blend you like.... Alternatively get blood work to see if you even NEED one, because if you aren't deficient then they all are truly pointless
Dude I’m in the same boat here lol I was taking like 15 supplements a day and now I just wanna find one legit multivitamin and call it a dayI’m not sure TBH which are best.. I use a lot of life extensions vitamins. The two a day multi, Vit C, D3/k2, zinc, magnesium. I use the California gold fish oil and krill oil from Iherb. Life extension has a subscription program that sends me reoccurring vitamins which saves me the trouble and time from having to reorder them along with free shipping.

Sure, you can mega dose certain things to give like a .005% increase in your bodies "operation level"... but your body doesn't want to do that and it will affect other things and make them worse. Chasing optimization is essentially chasing your tail, you will gain something and that something will cause something else to go wrong. Then you do something about that, and what you do there causes yet another issue, etc, etc, etc. This is a solid point lol I’ve never been deficient in anything on my bloodwork. There’s a guy whose videos I like and have learned a decent amount of stuff from and he made this long write up about how if you’re not increasing your micronutrient intake you’re not maximizing any gear use because your body is operating at an increased ability to operate. I got that animal vitamin pack or whatever but I literally feel no difference when I take it or when I don’t.
The electrolyte protocols that you see are wild lol. 5 grams of sodium and potassium ? You’re just asking for an imbalance and issues associated with hyperkalemia or hypernatremia. In most cases , it’s completely unnecessary . The high sodium doses that are pushed is nonsense for most. We are trying to control blood pressure. Understand the idea that potassium excretes sodium at a balanced level , but it never seems to play out like that. The body has a mechanism in place to deal with these factors and the more you try and manipulate it , the less optimal it seems to be.Sure, you can mega dose certain things to give like a .005% increase in your bodies "operation level"... but your body doesn't want to do that and it will affect other things and make them worse. Take people that mega dose vitamin D... Excess vitamin D has some positive effects, but then you run the risk of hypercalcemia and other complications such as possible increase risk of bone fractures, vitamin D toxicity, etc. All these wellness gurus online always only talk about the good while ignoring the bad. So take what they say with a grain of salt and do loads of research before doing anything anyone tells you is safe and to do
Seconded. I've always used either of these products and have always heard good feedback from others on them as wellGnc mega men or animal pak all day. I notice my quality of life improves when I’m dosing multivitamins consistently , but that’s just me.
