I believe Stan links studies to everything, but like he’s stated before, you can always find another study to disprove something in nutrition so you will never be “right”.

Ok who bought it and is willing to share?
You can piece together 95% of it through his seminar video on YouTube from what I heard. His Instagram has a lot of info on it as well.

studies are not science, they’re studies

i can link a study that shows people benefit from removing gluten from their diet but it doesn’t mean EVERYONE needs to remove gluten from their diet

What kind of “scientific” diet you looking for bud. Op was asking about Efferding’s vertical diet, you don’t have to do it ffs.

I just watched all his YouTube videos and downloaded all his podcast appearances. Took a few weeks to get through everything but it’s been a great diet for me.

The seminar that’s on YouTube I think it’s 2 hrs it covers almost everything. The diet you can purchase is probably an updated version, but also not free.

It’s 2018 bro. Can’t come back with anything? You shouldn’t have tried to sound smart like you have any idea what you’re talking about.

Did you read the diet plan? What did you read that isn’t backed by science?

He stresses nutrient dense food and foods that don’t distrupt your stomach or inhibit digestion.

I’m not going to be drinking OJ after every meal but I’d dabble with pure Cranberry Juice for the hell of it.

I don’t agree with his stance on PWO caffeine and Post Protein Shakes. But other than that his Monster Mash meal is easy to make and fits my macros that RP suggests.

I’ve added NUUN tablets while training and I feel great post workout.

By RP you mean renaissance periodization? Fuck dude that makes two of us lol. I feel like a hipster having combined the two diets for the past year now. It makes RP much easier, and not having to make weird macro scrabble for some meals when you run out of food.

Hahahaha. I thought I was a genius. Im new to the Vertical Diet. So I’m eager to know your results.

My struggle with RP is meal prepping. I don’t eat fish so mostly it’s just chicken dishes that eventually drive you nuts. The monster mash just clicked with me because I needed something quick and stupid easy to eat. I grill bison meat and throw it in a Tupperware with a 3 cups of rice and eat it 2-3 times during the day. Also 200-300 grams of sweet potatoes as an additional carb. Other than that it’s just fruits and greens. But I try to focus on maintaining my macros this way.

Ive been drinking 1/3 protein shake prewo and casein at night.

I don’t understand your point. You originally said it’s not based on science. Who cares if his suggestion of Low FODMAP foods isn’t unique.

the broad implementation of low FODMAP has no basis in real science. it’s commonly accepted that most people can eat most foods without any issues.

additionally, the avoidance of coffee because “it impairs digestion” is no different than avoiding gluten bc “im gluten sensitive”

MOST PEOPLE are fine with both coffee and gluten.

broad generalizations and statements in absolutes are not ever based in actual science.

LOL. He suggests low FODMAP foods. He’s not mandating them. I don’t know why that’s hard to understand. He believes thru trial and error that its optimal to avoid them. We’re literally posting on a steroid forum where countless posters had to tweak their cycles due to side effects.

And I still disagree with his beliefs on shakes and caffeine but the general diet and suggestions seem sound.

his “trial and error” methods aren’t scientific 😉
