Well they banned vaping in my home state as of today. It doesn’t bother me because I don’t do it anymore, but many of my friends who quit smoking from vaping are pissed about it and have to buy online now. This shit has been all over the news for weeks now and has been a hot subject. Any thoughts?

I think it’s amusing we have decades of objective, verifiable information and studies about the harms and lethal devastation smoking can have on you, people you smoke around, and even your pets. Nothing happens.

After a few years and a few instances of cheap Chinese manufacturers and shady black market THC cart dealers we have big tobacco lobbying all their worth against vaping because of the amount of customers it pulls from them, “for the children”.

My state banned flavored vapes, which I think is retarded. I don’t vape, I quit smoking cold turkey. My wife vapes some watermelon shit, and quit smoking after being a pack a day + smoker for almost 30 years. If flavored vapes are getting heat for targeting children, what the fuck about all these flavored vodka’s and shit? Is there no responsibility carried by Smirnoff for their Fluffled Marshmallow, or Ciroc Mango/Apple/Berry etc…?

Oh yeah, money.

Vaping doesn’t have the maddening amount of old money alcohol and tobacco has. It’s never for our health, it’s never for our kids. It’s for the money.

I grew up in the 70’s and 80’s when everyone smoked, including kids that were 12 years old smoking with their parents.

Vaping to me is vastly better then putting up with the disgusting stench of cigarettes.

Tobacco a decade ago used to kill about 400,000 people a year, now those numbers are down because people aren’t smoking like they used to.

A few young people die and mommy cries her eyes out and that’s all that’s needed to revoke everyone’s freedom, when mommy and daddy are pissed we all pay for it.

If I was your president there would be no laws regarding any drugs for any age. I would let kids smoke crack on the playground.

It’s all about selective hypocracy, an 18 year old dies vaping and the parents are freaked out, an 18 year old gets his ass blown off in war and they call him a hero and quickly forget him.

Switching to vaping from being a pack a day smoker was such a huge QOL boost. I tried lozenges/gum and that sucked balls. Super annoyed at the transparently fake moral panic especially when I live in a state not known for its laissez-faire approach to governance. I just switched to lower nicotine juice in anticipation of there being an outright ban and having to quit. Don’t want to go back to smoking cigarettes.

Just another example of the government trying to control our lives. They are dominated by their special interest groups and will attack anything that threatens the company’s that are lining their pockets. Couple people severely abuse their vape and die, and we have a ban. Thousands and thousands of people die every year from alcohol and tobacco related issues and nothing happens.

I refuse to use one of those giant Dildo/vibrator looking douche vapes, and so I’ve always used the Juul vape. It’s been like 4 years now since I quit smoking and switched to that. $16 dollars a day is fucking brutal.

They make salt nic vape pens that aren’t giant and douchey looking. It’s sooooo much cheaper.

They also make refillable juul pods. You’ll be shocked at how much more money is in your checking account when you’re spending $20 a week (probably less) instead of 16 a day

Dang bro are you vaping an entire pack of pods a day? They have knock of pods in all the non chain type stores here in Georgia. A little cheaper but taste a hell of a lot better.

Vaping got me to quit smoking but unfortunately after 1.5 years of vaping my throat started to get sore all tge time
So I dip now. Just can’t kick the nicotine.

I agree with big fenny, aka fentanyl. They should stop cracking down on it so natural selection has its ways and there’s less dumb fucks to worry about on this planet. Plus there would be less focus on stupid, harmless shit like vaping.

That’s my morbid “George Carlin” type thought for the day. Let the idiots die off.

I quit cigs cold turkey many years ago, tried vaping to quit but it just reminded me how much I would rather have been smoking. Now I occasionally vape cbd but I try not to make it a regular thing. It’s totally crazy that they can justify banning vaping without first banning smoking. Money = power.

Yea I actually started to vape a bit at my job (mainly because I can get a break and I find it to be a bit better than smoking) and I top spend like 15euros a month…And I found that alot of strongmen competitors/track and field guys vape too (some going to olympics 2020). Thinking of trying CBD but not sure where to get good one, bit scared after those vitamin E deaths.

I get 90grams of weed a month for free. Vaping before I sleep with thc oil and twice a day cbd (pill) has helped me more than all the other pharmaceuticals I was being prescribed.

It’s 100% the healthier option compared to cigarettes. They’re trying to force people back onto the tobacco train.

I’m an asthmatic and a single cigarette will leave my lungs tight and minorly wheezy for 24 hours. A Juul barely irritates my lungs and I’ve smoked a whole pack of pods in a night. Gotta form your own opinion because the tobacco companies don’t want what’s best for you.

With that being said, smoke and vapor are not GOOD for the lungs. I can’t argue that vaping is a healthy activity but it’s much healthier feeling than smoking. Also, look at the ingredient lists of both. Vape juice has <10 and cigarettes are in the thousands ffs.
