USPS "delivered" but not package (fuck USPS)

No blame to any sources here, I watched my pack ship all the way from where it normally ships via tracking up unto the day I saw it as out for delivery. Come home, check mailbox. No fucking package, yet, it was marked as delivered. I have been having numerous issues lately with these asshats. I don’t know if it’s my carrier specifically or USPS in general but how you guna mark something as delivered to a LOCKED MAILBOX that clearly isn’t there. No it wasn’t stolen. THERE IS A LOCK.

Anyways, has this ever happened to anyone and were you able to sort it out? I’m assuming the driver just marked a ton as delivered to avoid any issues with his supervisor and perhaps, left it in his truck to be delivered a different day? I have no clue tbh.

This can be:

Post delivered to wrong address
Post marked as delivered to meet quota and is actually late
Post stolen by postal worker with juicy muscles

You could ask your immediate neighbors and see if they got it, although we’ve had people from blocks over drop our stuff before. It probably will show up in a day or two. I think Usps says to wait a week beyond expected delivery date before calling them.

USPS used an automated system with GPS to account package delivery. If the driver wen to the relative GEO of the package destination, give benefit of the doubt it was delivered. If not, he hurrys to get it back anyway.

I agree, USPS is the fucking worst.

“Oh there was a small bump in the road so I didn’t deliver your package”.

The fuck man, government workers are the worst.

Happened to me a few times. Marked as delivered and it never was. It’s always been delivered the next day. One time it wasn’t delivered until two days later.
Fucking hate the USPS.

My pack is currently taking a joy ride around the state that I live in. Informed delivery is still stating delivery date unknown. It should’ve been delivered 2 days ago. Complete incompetence…lol

You need a P.O. Box dude @“sourcebrah”
P.O. Box all the way. Temp controlled, secure, less hands on, and works with informed delivery.

Yeh man. The P.O. Box place I use picks up the mail from USPS every morning, so there’s no delivery issues or any mailman fuck ups.

My mailman is so retarded I can’t send anything to my home address anymore… The other day I opened my mailbox and I saw 2 W2’s and a jury summons letter that belonged to to my neighbor lol. He can’t even deliver the paper mail correctly.

I don’t use them often but there is no one better when it comes to logistics than DHL. On time every time!

The quality of the postal workers took a nose dive about five years ago when they started hiring people off the street to deliver mail.

Use to be sort of a respectable job, now we have drunks that treat it like a paper route.

@“Masterofron” See… that’s where I’d have to make sure I hand delivered the neighbors mail Just to see the look on his face when I informed (and served him) his jury duty papers. But that’s just the asshole in me. Not saying you would do such a thing. haha

I threw it in the trash at first on accident because it was bundled in a bunch of magazines I’ve never subscribed too. Luckily for him I I noticed it and gave it to the leasing office lol
