I’ve got one of these and use it all the time when traveling. Just toss it in my toiletry bag and rock on. Holds like two or three vials and I just toss my syringes in a ziploc and put them in my baby powder container.

I’ve looked at these but wondered, couldn’t TSA or CUSTOMS see through it on an X-ray?

I wouldn’t worry about that. TSA is primarily looking for two things - explosives and weapons. If they catch gear but miss a bomb, they get fired (actually not, cuz civil service laws lol), but if they catch a bomb and miss a vial of gear, no one will care. Ignore the fact that TSA has never actually prevented a bomb from getting on an airplane (separate issue) - those are their priorities.

The security in other countries (perhaps excepting Australia) cares even less. The idea of someone “smuggling” a vial of gear into their country is a joke barely worth even laughing at.

And I should add - I have a TRT script and regularly travel abroad with a vial and pins. Even when searching my bag and going through my personal items in detail, no one has ever even bothered to look, much less ask.

I have a script and just toss everything into a diabetes travel pack and I’ve never had issues traveling with anything except a select few Asian countries who wanted to see the script, but even then I still also had other gear that wasn’t scripted with me that got through with no problems. Aside from that it’s never even been questioned.
