Test C homebrew question

Ok bros… my homebrew experience is slim to none. I need a good test CYP recipe for 100ml of 250mg/ml with MCT… I’ve searched high and low to see if I need any EO with this… am I ok using just my BA, BB, and MCT to have 250mg/ml hold? I would greatly appreciate if someone provide me their recipe for this… any help would be appreciated!

FYI my confusion is that test CyP is a little more difficult to master than test e and everything I’ve read gives test cyp recipes for 200mg/ml holding fine without EO but I’m hoping 250 will hold without it too

Not worth it, stick to the basic recipe for now. 2/20 BA/BB at 200 mg/mL.

If you wanted to hold more, you should have gotten Test E raws, they easily hold 300 mg/mL on only 2/20 BA/BB.

What are you using for a filter?

Thank you I need to check that out. Unfortunately I’m using syringe filters(I was trying to do this on a strict budget) … I got PES .22 micron 33mm filters, hopefully a 10 pack will be enough for 100ml of finished product

I prefer cyp for some odd reason, probably all in my head but I’ve always thought Cyp to be superior even though I know they’re almost identical except for a carbon or two on the ester and Cyp is harder to hold at higher concentration. Why do you recommend sticking to 200mg/ml?

Each filter should be able to do 20-30 mL before it gets really hard to push through. In my experience. 10 should be more than enough to filter 100 mL. I also use syringe filters.

I prefer propionate myself. It may not be in your head. I guess no water retention from prop and i feel the benefits like energy/wellbeing/etc more than the longer esters.

I recommend 200 mg/mL because that’s the max concentration that cypionate will hold without adding guaicol/EO. That’s the concentration pharma grade uses for a reason. With Guaicol you can definitely push the boundaries though.

Guaicol is something I’ve never personally experienced. It’s a supersolvent, has a strong smell supposedly. I’ve seen it mentioned for saving gear crashed gear that won’t go back to solution.

Ethyl Oleate is the oil I see brewers use for short ester high concentration to prevent crashing. It’s kind of expensive and some people report that they don’t respond well.

Seems 200mg/ml is a safe bet, especially with a new brewer that wants to avoid problems.

I have about 100ml of Test-C 250mg from a seller, it doesn’t crash, label has the standard BA-2%/BB-20% GSO.

Exactly, the tried and true formula, especially as a new brewer to get your feet wet.

Then you can start experimenting with more exotic recipes.

There’s no worse feeling than doing a homebrew for the first time and that shit comes out fucked. You want to build the confidence first and do something basic, build up from there.

Bought most of my equipment off amazon as well, my reagents from texlabsupply. Just have a few more things to order and I’ll be brewing my own gear from here on out.
