Swollen injection site.

I pinned the other day. Used clean everything like always. My glute is swollen and warm to the touch.
What can I take to help relieve this?

Ibuprofen to help with pain and inflammation. Outline the red with a marker; this helps you know if it’s getting worse. Watch for signs of infection like fever. If you have signs and symptoms of infection, get checked ASAP - cellulitis spreads fast. Catch it early and oral antibiotics should be okay. Warm compress can also relieve pain.

What kind are the names of some of the antibiotics that I could take?

Probably cephalexin. But that is not meant to be medical advice. These infections can spread fast and lead to septicaemia damn quick. You really need a physician if you think it’s infected.

Although NOT medical advice, this is good advice. I just went thru something similar. Gave me Keflex as he said. Also great advice to draw around it with a marker to see if it grows.
