tough to beat fat free greek yogurt and fairlife chocolate milk.

Also, um…meat?

I’m not a clean food nazi, but do we need a list of cold cuts and protein powders?

Pretty clear from the list that not all are created equal. Mind sharing the ratios of your suggestions?

No offense to the OP, but a lot of that stuff on the list is basically junk.

Stick with the basics, get whole foods with no processing, buy your meat in bulk and freeze it. If you have a farmers meat market put in and order for quality meat and save a bundle.

Canned meats like Salmon, Tuna, Mackerel are obvious choices for quick snacks you don’t need to cook.

I had a nice pork roast with potatoes and carrots last night. 7 pound roast cost me $7.

When it comes to nutrition, sst is the worst forum. People love to criticize, but never contribute.

Cool. I won’t bother posting here unless it’s related to ped’s. I mean, with all the “experts” and vast knowledge, what can I contribute…

Let me make cooking clean meals super duper simple for you:
Buy a crock pot. Maybe you know it is a Slow Cooker instead.

Pick a meat, pick any veggies you want, grab a container of broth and throw all that shit in the pot. Cook it on the medium heat setting (They’re not all the same so figure out medium range) for about 8 hours overnight and eat it all day the next day. That night, clean it out and repeat. You can add rice directly to the pot if you want or pick up a decent rice cooker (Not the absolute cheapest one because those are shit; Spend about 50 bucks on something with longevity) and just cook up rice to have ready for the next day’s meals too.

This sounds incredibly boring but I promise you the world of flavors available to you with making, basically, stews is pretty endless. Check out the seasonings aisle in whatever store you shop at and most have little containers/bags of premade seasoning stuff to dump right in with everything else, or you can just season it yourself. Change up the veggies or meats whenever you want. About 2lbs of whatever meat you want plus whatever veggies will fit into the thing should easily get you into the 220g protein range and the calorie count should be very low. Broth has a super small protein content, some veggies have small protein content, overall for a stew with 2lbs of any meat and veggie combo you can roughly assume it will have 1500-2300 calories and 220+ protein.

Slow cooking will also make the meat stupid easy to chew and eat quickly and in the case of chicken you can shred it apart with a fork in the pot so you’re able to eat big amounts of it quickly. Won’t be dry either! If you’re a protein powder person, add 2 scoops of whey and you’re at basically 300g protein daily for under 3000 calories and at no point should the food feel like a chore to eat nor make. If you’re bulking, throw a few glasses of chocolate milk in for easy calories and another 8g protein per serving of it; Look for ones that are like Walmart brand and have only 140cal per serving which is not bad for how good chocolate milk tastes.

There ya go, easy food advice that requires no cooking skills and very little prep daily.
