Proviron & Mast: AI or not?

For me this question is more about proviron, but since from what I’ve seen proviron is oral mast I guess it applies to both.

I tried throwing in proviron to a cruise dose of test and within 2 days I felt like my estrogen was crushed. All the classic symptoms. Felt even worse than crashing my estro with an AI which I have done in the past (trial and error).

So I’m wondering are these compounds AI’s in there own right? A lot of conflicting info on the web for these two. What do you guys think and does anyone have blood work proving either one lowers estrogen?

no, they aren’t AIs as they don’t inhibit aromatase. They do however have a high affinity for SHBG and POSSIBLY lower your aromatase receptor sensitivity (This last bit I couldn’t find any actual studies on, that is just a theory as to why some people feel like they’re crashed with it.)

Ya I mean it feels crashed almost immediately. I guess some people just can’t run it in a normal cycle because it out competes estrogen at the receptor entirely.
