Painful initial injections?

Injections are starting to hurt… why?

The actual “penetration/pierce” through the skin has a sharp pain.

I could “feel” the needle going deeper as well.

Before I’d at most feel a slight pinch during the piercing phase but never any pain and I wouldn’t really feel the needle once inside neither.

No PIP and not compound related.

Any way to fix this so it’s a buttery smooth pin again?

Could it be caused due to lower body fat and more developed muscles???
Injection speed??

been pinning for a little over a year now, sites are delts and glutes only.

need advice esp since im pinning EOD for this cycle so this pain kinda sucks.

Try new sites. Probably have scar tissue built up if you only use two. What kind of pin you using?

For my delts a 31g slin pin and for my glutes 1/2in 25g

How are you getting any oil anywhere with those tiny ass pins? Lol but slin pins shouldn’t really be causing too much, if any, scar tissue.

I would still suggest using other spots. Slin pins in the pecs work great and the triceps are easy as well.

Could be scar tissue, could be random, once you’ve had one painful pin you expect them to be painful, and pain is such a weird subjective thing. I’ve had periods where pinning hurt for a bit, never bad enough to matter though.

Uhh. Left shoulder, left glute, right shoulder, right glute, then repeat. With EOD pinning this means if you pinned your left shoulder Monday, you won’t pin it again until the following Tuesday. 8 days is more than enough to let swelling die down and a pin every 8 days should not make an unreasonable amount of tissue build up.

For glute though, I guarantee that you’re wasting oil with 1/2in pins. Go 1in MINIMUM but preferably 1.5in. I know there’s this weird misconception with people that longer pins = more pain, but the painful part is literally only the initial piercing of the skin and afterwards you should not feel anything no matter how long the pin is. Mind you, go slowly since a longer pin can potentially hit nerves that a shorter one wouldn’t reach but you should be fine OP.

someone plz tell me they had a similar experience their first time shooting a pec

Yeah probably virgin pip. When I do pecs, I measure three fingers directly above the nip. Guess that kinda puts it about the outer mid area. Not fuckin’ dead center lol

Yeah 3 fingers above my nip is the outer pec as well.

…maybe ill try that next pin day on the other pec. probably still gnna hurt tho

on the brightside i didnt feel the needle pierce my skin or penetrate the muscle

…probably shouldve de-virginized all sites with some test-e in the past ??‍
