NPP and Bloodwork

Hey guys and gals,

Today’s topic npp. I’ve started using this for last few cycles, currently at 600mg per week. I just got bloods done, progesterone in range, prolactin in range. Obviously these things are person dependent but is this normal? I really expected some hormones to be out of range… it has me instinctually questioning my npp so thought I would get some input here.

Thanks everyone.

@Prim0r0x seems normal to me. how long have you been on it and what were your prolactin values? I’ve had my prolactin tested when dosing 350-500 NPP a few times and it’s always been in range even without caber (although a bit on the high end). I’ve only ever taken the caber in really small doses and it’s all I ever needed. I feel like people go overkill with that shit.

@MikeAlstott thanks for sharing. So I’ve been on 600 NPP about 6 weeks. My prolactin is sitting in range at 13.2 barely raised from what I had it measured on my cruise (150 test) at 12.6 so essentially hardly moved at all. I guess I just expected some movement at that dose

others bloodwork ive seen on daca/npp shows almost no rise in those numbers either.
contrary to popular belied that nandrolone raises prolactin and causes “gyno”

@Prim0r0x how’s your E2 and what’s your AI usage like? From my understanding, as long as you keep your estrogen under control - you should be golden. I seem to remember reading about how prolactin can start to rise a lot when estrogen gets high. I’m sure there’s a more science based post surrounding this. Hope it helps.

@MikeAlstott I’ve heard that as well as far as controlling estrogen. My estrogen is right at the top of the range. Actually a couple points lower than when on my cruise. I just really thought that prolactin number would move.

I mean I guess it’s a good thing if that’s truly how I react to that dose of nandrolone, just surprising to me.
