Well, that escalated quickly...
I've been lurking here for a few months, and so thought that I should set up an account so that I can give feedback, if nothing else.
I'm 50 and I began TRT in Dec 2022 after finding a clinic that was interested in checking what my GP wasn't. I had been feeling like a burnt out zombie for years, struggled hard with my weight, couldn't build a damn bit of muscle or strength despite working my ass off in the gym, and I was having a harder and harder time avoiding insulin, despite switching to a keto diet to help manage my Type-2 diabetes.
I found out that I was below the low cutoff at 7.5mmol (216ng)
Fast forward to the february check in and I'm 27.5/792 and the doc is happy.
I still felt like crap, however.
A local BB coach suggested I try upping my dose from 100mg/wk to 200, which I did, and I began to feel better, within a few weeks, and to see progress after being stalled for so long.
Of course I was using up my scrip in double time, so I had to find a supply. I quickly found out that everyone wants to be your supplier, (once you sign on with them), but no one will give up a source. That's their business, and I can respect that, but it's not how I wish to do business.
So I came to find this place while applying myself to the task of learning everything I could about what I was doing. And I lurked for a good while to see whether it was a legitimate site or not. Congrats - you guys passed my overly suspicious sniff test
Fast forward to today and I'm still learning. I've also added NPP to my "TRT+", and it has helped with some long standing joint and soft tissue issues. I've also grown some muscle for the first time in my life, which is exciting.
Now I want to get lean, and I want to get big, safely, so I'm in this for the ride.
My thanks to the admins for providing this platform, and to the members who provide source feedback.
