I would say that yes, emotional fluctuations/weirdness can definitely be related to AAS use as hormones have a relationship to emotions, but I think that more than anything else, who you are as a person will play the biggest role, similar to how things like aggression are more dependent on the user than the drug(s) itself. I have found the whole it “exaggerates” who you are naturally assessment to be quite accurate. If you’re not an emotional person and you’re suddenly crying watching Marley and Me, you’ll probably wanna get everything checked out (blood work) to make sure certain hormones (namely estradiol, prolactin) aren’t too far out of line.

Make sure your life is in check and not too much stressful stressors they can really jack up your hole cycle if your mind is not all the way there with your body.
