Followup question: I don’t plan on going crazy with slin. I’m planning on sticking to 5iu while I’m running it and not upping the dose at all. Would this even make a difference or will I be wasting my time?
Humalog / Novalog : 10 mins pre training. 5-6 iu with 50-70g carbs during training.i prefer highly branched dextrin It’s in during your workout and out by the time you’re done. Otherwise I strongly recommend you study peak times and how the insulin works. No it’s not a waste. Humalog / novolog may be script only.
Edit : you will likely notice that your u start to lose the skin splitting pumps about 3-4 weeks in. You are losing insulin sensitivity. Cycle off the insulin for a month and repeat . I personally would not recommend anything else - but we all have our reasons and goals. Whatever you do, just be smart about it. You only get one body, and only one life.
