High prolactin, low e2?

Hey SST, just got my halfway blast bloodwork done -
Currently running 500 test cyp, 600 eq, ~400 NPP / week.

Pretty confused as my e2 is in check - not perfect but certainly not high. Could the NPP be the culprit? I also fucked right before getting the bloodwork done, ~30-45 minutes prior. Would the prolactin spike from ejaculating cause a high reading?

Other than that, I could have a pituitary tumor but yikes…

If anyone has input I would gladly appreciate it. Gonna start caber at .25mg/wk as a precaution.

You wouldn’t experience a measurably notable prolactin spike from ejaculation before your test, but NPP likely is raising your prolactin, it’s known to do so and your levels aren’t wildly high by any means anyway. I would try something more mild like p5p before starting caber since you’re almost in range as is.

Thanks for the help/advice! I’ll get my hands on some p5p this afternoon.

+1 for p5p. I do have easy access to pharma Caber, but I still prefer 400 mg p5p (Life Extension brand has some great discounts).

The recent ejaculation could absolutely, and likely did, have an effect on his prolactin. Post ejaculatory increases in prolactin are a well documented normal feedback loop response.

Well this is good news! I’m going to run some p5p and get another round of bloodwork done to verify the PRL drop.
