Anyone here had it and continued to use AAS?

I have gyno from using pro hormones in late HS. Even through my 1st second and third cycles my AI/aas timing and blood/hormone levels have been very controlled and on point and has never made my gyno fluctuate.

I’m getting the surgery in about a week. Just wanted to hear some opinions.

My friend had the same thing happen. He got the surgery and is fine now. Still uses at AAS… can’t remember if he cycled off prior to surgery. Think he just remained TRT and couldn’t lift for a while after.

Treat it like any other surgery. I would stop using everything besides just Testosterone, and use just enough to have Replacement Levels, so something like 150-200 mg for my case.

Rest and give your body time to heal as your surgeon is recommending, and only go back to hard lifting once he cleared you. That’s why I would only stay on “TRT”, if you can’t lift, you won’t reap the benefits of blasting gear, so why take it ;).

My surgery is happening in less than 2 weeks, my doc knows about my case and use of my gear (friendly doc that has dealt with bodybuilders all the time) … long story short he suggested that if the glands are COMPLETELY removed chances of it reoccurring is very low from gear. But every surgeon has their own ideology on removing all of it or leaving some gland behind so the chest/nipple area looks smooth and not like a donut (dip in the nipple).

long story short take your gear when your doc gives you clearance of lifting heavy again… every doc knows their own patients case and how bad of “removal” they have done, thus healing time for every one is diff.

how much do the surgeries cost? I’ve had naturally puffy nipples and mild gyno since 7th grade. Cycling doesn’t seem to make it worse, it’s always just been the price and recovery time that makes me push it off.

Depends on the surgeon you go to, the anesthesia you choose (local or general), and the amount they have to Liposuction to sculpt the chest, and the other materials needed for recovery (stool softer, pain killers, chest garment, compression socks, chest roller). Mine is costing 6500 and I am close to 14% bf with general anesthetics.

I had pubertal gyno and got it fixed recently with surgery and trust me is it relieving. Get it sooner than later imo

Yeah I have a feeling as soon as I finish the procedure I’ll have wished I’d done it sooner.

I just got my surgery 4 days ago. Feeling more confident already. So I’ve done about 5 cycles in the past two years. I’ve gotten good at listening to my body and blood work. In those two years I’m positive that I have worsened my gyno whatsoever. I want to keep cycling but I also don’t want to take any chances in getting gyno again. I’ve heard things about ralox and Nolva being used during cycle because you absolutely cannot get gyno on them. Obviously I’d keep my hormones dialed in, I just hate the thought of getting gyno again.

My surgeon said its nearly impossible to get gyno again if the surgeon that did the surgery removed ALL of it. check with your surgeon if he did that, if he left some in there for sculpting purposes then gyno regrowth is possible again.

I’d love to have it done, but I’ve seen some awful jobs. The nipples seem to be what gets jacked up the most.

I just got gyno surgery, literally yesterday morning lol. Ask me whatever questions you got btw. I went to AGC (westlake plastic surgery) for my surgery… a well-known doctor in the US specifically for gyno surgery. He gets people nationwide for surgery and he only does 3 surgeries a day is what I was told (I asked the lady on the phone if I could get booked soon and she explained this to me lol). nipples look great on me lol

Before surgery, Doc had a talk with me, “if any surgeon leaves some gland in there for aesthetic reasons they are fuckin retarded”… that’s all I will remember before the surgery lmao

Interesting. I’d be interested to hear how it turns out. I’ve also always heard that, about surgeons leaving gland in so you don’t get a “caved in” appearance. Going with a surgeon that is nationally known is the only way I’d go. It’s too important to go with Yelp or whatnot. I visited a plastic surgeon a year or so ago about it, and he directed me to his site for pictures of before and after of his surgeries. It was so bad, I wondered how he could possibly feel good about posting them. Nonetheless, I appreciated the candor. I did not follow up.

I have mine next month. The trick is to get the liposuction as well so they can feather the edges. Most people don’t spring for the liposuction because it’s expensive and almost never covered by insurance. Got mine covered though so I’m excited AF to blast my heart out… (metaphorically speaking lol)

@“PersianBody19” did you get the liposuction? Did he do drainage tubes and the compression vest?

My doc said a compression vest is a must but won’t be sure about tubes until he’s in there. Also told me basically 2 weeks no workouts and 4-6 weeks no chest workouts. I usually recover pretty quickly from stuff though so we will see at a post-op appointment if I have to wait that long.

Absolutely, a good surgeon will take fat and place it where the removed tissue once was. For anyone considering this surgery, you should 100% ask about complete gland removal and how they compensate for the void of space in your nipple (good surgeon will suture fat behind nipple where gland once was). If they don’t have a good answer just walk away.

I got Vaser Lipo bc I don’t have that much BF on my chest so not much fat deposit needed to be removed to make the chest look “sculpted”. Yeah compression vest with ACE band (ACE band on for just 2 days with ice). My doc doesn’t like drain tubes as the research doesn’t show it being better than without them in, again every surgeon technique is diff. He put “internal Flaps” like this stitching method (idk much about bc I wasn’t worried about this). Also, hella important… take the narcotic prescribe the doc will write you up, if they say “tramadol” ask for something stronger. Saying this bc the first 2 days u will feel like shit and pain. walk around and wear compression socks first week to get blood flowing. Yeah its pretty standard after gyno surgery to take 4-6 weeks off from lifting.

agreed, I have had online consultations like thro facetime with over 6 surgeons. I knew the phrases I was looking for them to say, and that’s why I went with the surgeon I choose (AGC) in Westlake plastic surgery

Good Luck my Captain, let us know how it goes. I finally schedule my first consultation next week after getting some courage from this thread.

I had mine done 4 years ago to remove pubertal gyno (before I started AAS). My surgeon had his own technique - he created incisions in my armpit to remove a good amount of the gland, in addition to chest lipo. Immediately after the surgery (first 2 months) my chest was completely flat. As I healed, my chest rebounded somewhat, but I still wouldn’t call it gyno.

Although my result is 100% natural looking, I wish I went with a different surgeon. Because his incision was through my armpit and not my nipple, I didn’t get my nipples reduced. I still have nipples protruding through most of my shirts. Now I am looking for a surgeon that will just remove my nipples…
