I really doubt the guy gives a shit. He sees crack heads and heroin junkies every day. Tell him the information he needs so that he can do his job and treat you. Your doctor needs to be like your lawyer, tell him everything so he can best help you.

Be honest. My doc has known for years. The only issue I’ve ever had with telling him is that he put it in my notes or record “rather” and it threw a red flag when I was getting life insurance. They didn’t like that. When questioned, I just said it wasn’t steroids, and I told the doc it was a pro hormone I got from GNC or a supplement store. It worked thank goodness. Lol. Moving forward bloods checked out fine. Good to go. I Hope this helps.

@Cpizzle11 Yeah the only thing I’d worry about is if it fucks with insurance. Either way, if your options are not being covered by insurance, or having a massive spreading infection in your body, I think I’d rather just pay out of pocket.

Or dose antibiotics and hope for the best. You do keep antibiotics on hand for this sort of thing I assume? I’m not giving medical advice, but I’d attempt to nuke it from orbit with that first, but that’s what I’d do, not what you should do.

There are plenty of legal things you can inject into yourself. Just say B12 or something. He will know, but wont cause any red flags.
