First and foremost, I prefer SST and consider this my home however, I do meander elsewhere on occasion to check on sources that we don’t have on this board etc. The last couple days I have made a few comments over at Meso regarding some primo (go figure) and am completely pissed off at some of the douchery that I encountered. I guess my main point here is to tell you guys how much I appreciate that you are all very open minded, friendly, and supportive. Some of the guys over there either aren’t getting laid, or are completely dominated by their significant others at home so they over compensate by being dick bags on the forum. Now this isn’t a blanket statement as there are some good knowledgeable dudes over there … I just hate keyboard warriors… I just know the mouthiest ones are probably the biggest pussies.
Anyways, enough of my rant but I would love to hear your experiences with that board specifically…

Meso is an example of when free speech goes too far.

Their instance on leaving pretty much every post up can lead to intense derailing by people who have no idea what they are talking about, and bro-science is repeated there 90+% of the time. Don’t get me wrong, there are some quality guys there, it can just be hard to decipher through the bullshit.

What you want is a good mix of moderation and user input; you don’t want the users clogging up information channels spreading FUD and a bunch of bullshit anecdotes, but at the same time, you don’t want mods who drop ban hammers for bad review. I (like to) think we have a very good mix here.

I think that both boards have their advantages. I agree with you that while there are knowledgeable people on Meso, there are a lot more assholes and bro science knowledge being repeated over on Meso. Also their threads tend to go on forever, with some of them thousands of pages long of nonsense and bullshit.

Meso has SST beat in the regards that people are quick to call out sources on their bullshit over there. As a result, the stuff that happened here with J&H, EP getting I forget how many second chances to quit being a fuck up and Bio Mass and his multiple personalities, would have been called out a lot sooner on Meso. Also, there appears to be far less of “source dick-riding” that goes on over there as opposed to here. Also, there is a lot more of, “I emailed this source less than 24 hours ago and they are MIA” or “Its been 2 days I need a tracking number” over here on SST than you see on Meso.

Regarding the bro-science on either board, honestly, these are sourcing forums with a little shared chatter on experiences. I personally still beleive r/steroids has the most comprehensive and modern information regarding AAS. Yes, you have to sift through alot of information but with time and research you can find appropriate answers for almost everything. just my 2¢

Never liked Meso for discussion. They seem to generally have a stick up their asses there. I just made this account after discovering that r/SST is alive and well here. I had no idea. Super pumped to be part of the community again.

I had so much blood work and labmax results on SST and then the community got nuked. I might start up again testing sources as i like to test every batch of whatever i buy.

Honestly SST is by far the best community for our niche. I have tried to post on bop but it seems to be all older people (35+ at the minimum). They are all really nice people though, just not for me. Meso is a shitshow and the posters are always angry. That’s how I’d imagine a group of incels on tren to behave. We have our assholes here (including me sometimes) but for the most part everyone here is awesome. Sources are great too, very friendly and communicative with their customers. Can’t ask for much more.

I think some of the vetting on meso is good, and some over the line. It has kept a few sources from hanging around.

My biggest issue is a few members who enjoy fighting like they’re tough guys. And some of the retarded constant posting of stupid things clogging up threads.

That’s like a random meme part of the vetting process. You may consider their vetting process absurd and actually just flat out autistic, but it works just as well as the vetting process done here by the sst mods…

It’s just an unstructured way to break down the source and make sure they are as good as they claim and can live up to the standards they claim.

Sst is funny in terms of how it can feel like a ghost town. just about everyone just buys their gear and keeps to themselves. Then someone starts the right thread and then there’s a massive dog pile.

Thought about trying meso to what sources they have but can’t be bothered with the toxicity of that site.

I am involved in many forums. What helps me is understanding each forums purpose for me. I use sst for sourcing. Aside from a few other places for injectable aminos and other non steroid things. I love the demeanor and the attitude of the environment here.
Meso is not a source forum even though it’s flooded woth sources. They are extremely harsh and demanding of sources and it’s an odd process ot works… it’s not perfect at all but they do help I belive.protect us from bad gear and scams. But I use.meso for research and experience. It has alot more members and alot more archived info then any other forum I’ve been on. Yes there are some real dickheads over there … bit thats life…
So I recommend sourcing. From a source forum like sst and using a forum like meso for research and information… those guys will help.you over there as long as you actually do some work yourself before asking dumb questions. And there are a few highly experienced men and women over there… and alot of competitors…
Once.you know the difference of each forum and what each one does best… and don’t try to blends those lines… you will understand and use each to your benefit and nit be affects by the nonsense that goes on in all.forums…

I joined this forum not to long ago and have been a member of meso and other forums for some time now. I definitely have to say I prefer the “community” and “vibe” of SST much more than the others. They’re plenty of great sources and minds on there but they’re also plenty of douche bags with bro science that gets old.
