howdy yall
22yr-175lbs-6ft1.5in
going to get a blood test later this week. Many signs point to slightly lower than average for my age test levels. (eating disorder when growing up didn't help)
3500-3800 cal- 180g pr - 200g carbs /daily

Steadily gaining 5lbs a month for the past 4 months. meh lean physique.
workout 6 times a week with a gym partner who has a nice natty physique (seems like he knows what he's doing).

From what I've read 500mg/w test E for 12-16 weeks is a good start

Really curious as to pinning tips or where I can learn pinning etiquette and any etiquette for that matter.
also need to know about what pct and other stuff is suggested when doing this.


edit- thoughts and doses on hcg during cycle to protect my testicles? ex- 500iu per week split twice a week, stop 1 week before pct start

22 is young. If you're naturally low T, even a little shut down could be bad. Also, 500 is high for a first cycle.
Do you think there is a possibility that you could experience more natty progress with diet and continued training or are you pretty sure you have hit a plateau and any increased weight would just be fat? When we are young, we don't care as much as we should about our long term health. What do you think your future self would advise in, say, 20 years? I think most the older guys here might agree.

I respect your perspective and I may just be young and Naive. from everywhere I looked, everyone is saying "500 is A sweet spot, below is too little and no point to pin if you aren't doing a decent amount because you still run risk even at a lower dose, might as well up it" and the reason I'm considering it is to truly test the waters as most people say they recover very well from a test only first cycle. of course you can be the anomaly that gets absolutely destroyed in every way but on average most do just fine after this cycle from my research and understanding.

additional weight would be fat and muscle I won't lie I haven't plateaued yet but I do want to see this side of the field if you know what I mean.
I am not 40 yr old me so I can't say for sure but more than likely it was stupid. But alas I am here inquiring because I am tempted and more than likely will run it.

I totally understand the temptation and curiosity. I was once 22 and now my youngest kid is. Im also an advocate of ppl's freedom to do what they want with their own body. But wanted to advocate for the devil a bit and encourage you to approach with caution. Keep educating yourself. Good luck.

Everyone here is open to performance enhancing drugs, or we wouldn’t be part of a community like this one. We know how much they can boost performance and appearance, and also have a good sense of which horror stories are real and which ones are exaggerated. I say all that to explain why you may want to give it a little bit more weight when someone here says it is a little too early to use steroids.

You may have heard that parts of the brain are still developing into the mid-20’s. That means the things you do now can impact you permanently. Think of it like wet cement… it’s mostly in place, but you can still fuck it up.

You’re at peak testosterone right now. Most people are trying to get back to where you naturally are. There’s no need to take risks and the improvements won’t be as big now as they will be in the future.

On another thread, the op confesses that training has been " substandard" and diet has been "shit" up until just 4 months ago. We've tried to reason with him here, but he seems determined. Some ppl just need to learn the hard way and do themselves perminate harm in the process. Someday, when his brain is fully formed, he will regret this choice.

22 is quite young. Reassess this idea when you’re 25.

I started far too early (21 years old) and really regret doing so. I wish I would’ve waited until at least 25.

I started at 25 and I’m now 29 I regret even starting at that age I wish I was just now starting but when temptation is there not much convincing can be done Expecially on the younger guys I’d say do more research really consider the consequences bc I’ll tell you this right now 1 cycle is not enough to get you anywhere close to what you want this becomes habit forming and mildly an addiction bc of the results you may see and how good you can feel on cycle approach with caution wait till you know in your heart you have the knowledge and understanding to move forward good luck 👍
