Does anyone get strange leg cramps?

My hamstrings after and during my Anavar cycle started going nuts and for whatever reason is still continuing even after I’ve stopped using it. I switched over to dbol and my normal TRT dosages.

Someone on other forums mentioned taking Taurine and electrolytes and drink plenty of water but is that all it could be? Simply being not hydrated enough? Proviron seems to add cramping too now.

I used to notice with Dbol. I’d go to sit in a chair and my quad would cramp up or sometimes my arms lol. Taurine didn’t do much for me and I still ended up with lower back pumps everytime I deadlifted or did barbell rows

Try taking a magnesium supplement daily.
This. Had crippling leg cramps for a while, magnesium + potassium solved it for me.

Yeah! If I’m not hydrated enough my hamstrings are the first things to cramp up. If I get enough electrolytes I’m good. But I drop even just a little BAM CHARLIE HORSE IN THE HAMS MOTHER FUCKER!

It really depends how dehydrated I am. Hams go first then if I’m really dehydrated my gracilis cramps and if I’m dying my quads spasm.

If you’re talking about the cramps that almost roll through your leg it’s from crashed estrogen. At least for me that’s what it is. It will happen to every muscle in my body when it gets bad enough. Only recently figured out what it was that caused it.
Supplements do NOTHING for that kind of cramping.

Interesting…

Yea like my leg will just get so tight for no reason or my back might tighten up in that rolling fashion but man, I can’t imagine being low on E taking around 350+ test and Dbol.

I never got these effects until I took Anavar and Proviron together. It’s less bad right now. My upper body didn’t really get it except my lower back did get it for a day or 2. It is like a rolling cramp the ones that unless you straighten your leg it feels like it’s going to snap… no joke. Funny thing is I don’t even work out legs that hard. My buddy told me I need more magnesium and potassium.

Everyone suggest taurine and all that stuff but there’s something that has proven effective for me:

Vitamin B. get a vitamin b complex (all vitamin B’s in one pill)

Magnesium and potassium are also a good idea for general post workout health

It’s essential for maintaining healthy nerves and I notice whenever I don’t have it built up in my blood i’ll wake up in the middle of the night with horrific crippling cramps that last throughout the day

Taken from Livestrong:

“Recent research suggests B-vitamin deficiency can lead to a number of problems, including leg cramps. In fact, a review published in the journal “Neurology” concluded a Vitamin B complex supplement reduced muscle cramps in 86 percent of patients studied. B vitamins can be found in meat, eggs, dairy products, whole grains, beans and green leafy vegetables.”

+1 on Magnesium. And since I went low carb, if I eat a lot of sugar before bed I can get bad leg cramps.

I’ve since got some TruZMA and it appears to be cleaning me out from the strong magnesium in it + I also got the B complex. Not sure I am 100% but it seems a bit better.
