Cut into bulk transition

Wanted to know peoples opinion on the best way to transition from a cut into a bulk on cycle. In theory, after cutting you are more insulin sensitive, which would be great going into a bulk. You would also benefit from the low body fat percentage after a cut. But I’ve also read that after a cut, especially a harsh one, going back to surplus calories quickly will just lead to fat gain due to hormone levels being out of whack from cutting.

Just looking to get thoughts on this. Has anyone done this, how well did it work, what compounds and training methods, etc.

I was thinking maybe going back to maintenance calories for 2 weeks before adding in surplus calories

You’ve got the right idea. After losing weight your body is eager to regain the fat you’ve lost. Do exactly like you said, then bump your calories up to “bulk” in several two-week steps, not all at once. You’ll maximize muscle gain while avoiding the quick fat rebound you’d get if you went straight to bulking. Once your body realizes it isn’t starving any more, it’ll let the calories go to building muscle instead orf regaining fat.

When I transition, I add back 500 calories a week until I hit maintenance. Then I eat maintenance for a week or two, then add 500 calories a week until I reach my surplus.

You cut at more than -500?
I prefer short suicide cuts. I blast test tren and dnp and do a 1500 deficit for about 6 weeks.
