Wanted to know peoples opinion on the best way to transition from a cut into a bulk on cycle. In theory, after cutting you are more insulin sensitive, which would be great going into a bulk. You would also benefit from the low body fat percentage after a cut. But I’ve also read that after a cut, especially a harsh one, going back to surplus calories quickly will just lead to fat gain due to hormone levels being out of whack from cutting.
Just looking to get thoughts on this. Has anyone done this, how well did it work, what compounds and training methods, etc.
I was thinking maybe going back to maintenance calories for 2 weeks before adding in surplus calories
