Can Finasteride Spike Estradiol?

have been running 150 cyp with small amount of ai for 6+ months on a cruise. I incorporated 100mg primo and it kept my nips really tight. I then added in .5mg fin to feel it out prior to my blast (want to run fin with 500 test to minimize test hair loss).

I believe fin is spiking my estrogen. I have minor minor grade 1 gyno puffy nip that can flare with high e2. It has been flaring and my sex drive has also had a dramatic increase.

Has anyone else heard of this?

I’ve been on finasteride since I was 19. I’m in my mid twenties now. As a teenager with gyno from puberty, I noticed during the first few months I would get a little itch, or a burn sensation for a few minutes but it went away. I haven’t noticed an increase in the size of gyno but I also tend to carry a bit more BF just because I feel better that way.

Don’t quote me on this but I remember seeing some videos and an MPMD pod where they talked about Fin and how when you start taking DHT inhibitors, you can get small spikes in estrogen because your testosterone can’t convert to about 70% of your DHT. Depending how long you’ve been on it, I wouldn’t stress it just yet. Or if you just so happen to be a hyper responder to it, which I found out later I was, split the pills and take .25mg a day and see if that helps.

TLDR: I’d wait it out right now and continue and see if it goes away after a few months but if it persists, take .25mg a day instead of the .5mg.

i stopped it cause my nipple was looking puffy and crazy, using nolva for 2 weeks now to calm it down. End of the day i just gotta get minor gyno surgery for grade 1. Its obnoxious im forced to sit around 25-30 estradiol or i get e2 spikes and puffy nips. No other symptoms other than a pimple randomly here or there
