New to this site and to crypto. Is there anyone out there willing to walk me through how to bitcoin and I’ll also need advice on my cycle. I’m 40yrs old and trying to bounce back from weight gain and loss of mass due to surgery. Any help would be appreciated.

@“19VENOM19” since you’re new, you might want to take advantage of the search feature. Chances are, most questions you may have will have been asked and answered in previous posts.

BTC atm’s were the most convenient for purchasing. A mobile wallet can be used with the atm and sent to vendor

That’s kind of vague. Do you need a bitcoin wallet to buy them from the ATM?

My apologies.

Yes. I recommend the BRD wallet on IOS.

You’re gonna want to hop onto coinatmradar.com and locate the closest local BTC ATM. Pay special attention to the purchase rates/fees for each location and pick the one that’s most affordable. In cash, bring the amount needed for your order PLUS AN ADDITIONAL 10% or so. This ensures that you’ll have enough $$ following the fees, charges, and depreciation (or appreciation).

Once you’re at the ATM, make your way through their purchase process. In the BRD wallet app, you’ll be able to pull up your specific BTC address’s QR code. Scan this QR code into the BTC atm when it asks which wallet you want the coin sent to.

When you’re finished, the BTC will be sent to your mobile wallet. Using your mobile wallet, send your friend their gift and memo in your email/username. When it asks which speed you’d like the coin to be sent at, just go with the middle option (best bang for your buck).

Just wanna mention because I’ve made the mistake - quadruple check that you entered your friend’s BTC address properly. If you misspell and send it out, your coin is gone for good. No getting it back.

Best of luck!
