I have a Turkish pharma pack coming into Canada via FedEx, and its been sitting on “Package Available for Clearance” for a little over a day.

Any of you lads (particularly in Canada) have a pack stuck on this status and have it get by? I’ve already had one package seized, and it really pisses me off. Does that mean they are going to open the pack?

Help me unrustle my jimmies.

There are times that delivery is late, and one of the common reasons for it is clearance procedure. Clearance Delay, or “Package available for clearance” means the package was held for examination and assessment by customs. It is a shipment update that is very common on imports from overseas.May 11, 2012

I wouldn’t say it’s seized. Give it a few days

Yeah I’ve been Googling a bunch, once source said its just the documentation that’s been submitted, although the last Turkish pack through Fedex flew through in no time.

@nftrot hey bro, I know this is an old thread, but I believe I had a package seized at customs, and was wondering what happens after ? Just a letter in the mail and you lose the package ?
