Anyone store their oils long term in -40F or lower?

I've been paranoid on the peptide side with all the China trade war stuff and stocked up multiple yeas worth of a variety of peptides and bought a freezer that goes down to -40F for storing them. I've stocked up 4+ years of various AAS oils, too. I do generally believe that there will always be ways to get stuff in to the country, but just in case I'm wrong...

If It was 2-3 years I'd probably just keep them in a cabinet where it is dark, but since I have free freezer space, I figured I'd see if anyone has any experience doing this. Pretty much everything is MCT for the carrier. Obviously I'd have to heat them up and get things back in suspension, but are there any other issues I'm missing here? Anyone done it?

My general plan would be to keep the next year or so in the cabinet, and rotate through my purchases based on oldest to newest.

Could be a smart thing to do, Although i think AAS is best when stored in room temperature(as long as it doesn't crystallize). I honestly think couple years should be ok. Ideally 1-2 years is the best. But yeah bro you sound like you are ready for a war lol.

This is good for /un/reconstituted lyophilized powder... peptides (that include the growth factors, GH [rh-GH], IGF-I and its analogues [e.g., LR3]), basically. But not wise for steroid oils!

Store them in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight.

Reconstituted peptides are best stored at refrigeration temps, 36°F to 46°F (2°C to 8°C).

Also, follow the instructions for any Pharma products that are reconstituted!

Thanks! I had been doing some additional reading and saw that plenty of people have used stuff after 5+ years, so sounds like I should be fine, particularly since I trust the materials on the vials are all high quality.

And yeah, just the lyophilized stuff in there now.

OK, good. Smart.

Yes, oils will last years when stored out of direct sunlight in a cool, dry place. And if they put expiration dates on them, that just means that they can’t /assure/ no potency loss or degradation. Eventually, it becomes the oil vehicle solvent rather than the solute drug that starts to degrade but it’ll be very gradual.

Besides, this seeming rift in trade from China is going to be temporary (IMO). Certain vendors shutting down business has less to do with that alone than their balancing their own incentives and risks and just deciding on now for their exit (IMO), the trade war being just one risk among a pool of them.

Storing peptides and AAS oils in the freezer should generally be fine as long as you thaw and mix them properly when you use them. Freezing can sometimes alter the consistency, especially with MCT oils, but if you're careful with rewarming them slowly to avoid overheating, you should be good. Just make sure you're rotating your stock like you mentioned, and keeping it in a cool, dark place otherwise. The key is managing the thawing process and ensuring you don’t freeze them too often.

Yeah. If I had to say what I think is more likely, I'd guess that any interruptions will be brief. But thankfully I'm in a financial situation where it's fine for me to hedge my bets and put together a stockpile just in case.

Just curious how do you trust that materials are high quality?

Oils in the freezer is retarded.

The oils probably won't gain anything over only a few years, but it won't hurt.
