Anyone pin traps / teardrops?

Getting kind of tired of blowing up my…big quad? The meaty ass one on the outside of your leg. I stopped pinning glutes a while back (I get cramped AF trying to reach around my lats) and went to straight quad/delts but stopped using delts much cause I always had too damn much to pin.

Starting to transition to slin pins for shorter esters and stuff and the pecs/triceps/delts seem like the obvious low-hanging fruit - but I wanted to know if anyone had experience with pinning traps/inner quads/lats?

Was it worth it?

I’ve heard good things about traps and lats, but personally I haven’t done them because I have an issue where I need to watch myself push the needle in (lol) plus my lats are absolutely layered in veins. I do pin triceps and love it, but similar to delts, the volume of oil has to be quite low in my experience. Slin pins are definitely the way to go. Wish I could be of more help but that’s all I’ve got.

Every time I pin my tear drops I think it’s a great idea until the PIP lol then like a month or sogoes by and I forgot about the pain and do it again same result but I’m sure if I did it on the regular it would be fine.

Here’s how to pin lats. It’s easy and you can use slin pins.

Stand next to a mirror so it’s on your right.
Grab your left shoulder with your right hand. This pulls your lat forward where it’s easier to pin.
Look in the mirror over your right shoulder and pin your right lat with your left hand.
There’s a nerve down the middle, so I always try to pin a little forward or back of the center. You’ll find that nerve eventually, remember where it is so you can avoid it.

Traps scare me just cause in my mind I picture a ton of nerves going thru my traps. I did quads one time and I thought people were exaggerating about the PIP but nope, never did them again.

Lats are by far the easiest place to pin. 0 pain injecting 0 PIP and my lats can hold a ton of oil.

Sit with left leg up on bathroom counter, grab right hip with left hand, sneak right hand under left arm and pin in the mirror. I usually cap the needle and poke around until I find a nice soft spot. Push the capped needle syringe into your skin and it will leave a nice targeting mark. I usually go high and back or low and forward. Uncap the needle and aim for bullseye. Just be sure there is no pulling going on with your hand to keep the muscle relaxed. I’d pin here everyday if I could.

Traps are easy, I do them with a 29G 1" on a 3cc or with a 'slin, just go into the meaty part and you’ll be ok.

I’d say so, but not for your first shot. I always start really small in terms of oil volume and gradually increase it when introducing a new muscle, especially a smaller one. I’ve found it reduces virgin pip significantly. Personally I do .5 shots for bis and tris, but I know people who use SEO do a full CC per head, so it should be fine, especially at your size. If you gradually taper up you’ll be able to find your personal limit in terms of oil volume.

Yea I’ve got my delts pretty dialed in - bout 2ml I’m cool. Don’t even have to think about my quads, whatever I can fit in the syringe will fit in my quad.

But yea I like the idea of tapering up injection volume esp since I’m probably gonna be killing them with high concentration tren A and shit hahaha
