A lot of things in society are normal and we don't announce them compulsively to everyone we meet without being asked or being in a situation where it might even matter. If you don't smoke and your buddies offer you one, you tell them then and that's that. Don't drink? Mention it when the discussion or activity turns toward drinking, that makes sense. Nobody wants to know who are what you like to fuck or get fucked by by default though. I have never once met someone and wondered what kinda sex they like when first meeting them. I have never felt compelled to say "Hi I'm Bob and I like to fuck big fat asses!" and if I decided to turn gay I'm not gonna go "Hi I'm Bob and I love having my big fat ass fucked!"
