Does anyone know of any recommendations for RAISING cortisol. Whether it’s adrenal supplement, bovine adrenal etc? I see so much on lowering cortisol and that is NOT what I’m looking for. i don’t think taking pharmaceutical steroids(not anabolics) would be even remotely sustainable. I likely need to completely stop all stim usage for around a month and just Sleep. I’ve heard semax or selank one of those is good as well. Also going to try and balance my pregnenolone/dhea levels out. Thanks

once daily dosing of clonidine spikes the ever loving fuck out of my cortisol. curious, why are you trying to raise it?

Also, somatropin is listed as inhibiting 11β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 1 (11βHSD-1), which would increase cortisol levels in most. I would assume that that would be the same for all hgh. see page 11 in the link below, 3rd paragraph from the bottom.

edit: oh and GHRP2 also spikes the hell out of my cortisol.

Yeah I just feel like my cortisol is out of whack. I feel drained as soon as I wake up. My sleep apnea is addressed. Just a path I want to research. Taking adrenal cortex has been hit or miss in the past but overall I feel better, as well as feeling great from licorice root. Could be thyroid too.

I'd never assume you have low cortisol until you have bloodwork backing it up. I wouldn't play with increasing cortisol at all until you know for sure.

What you're describing could be a lot of stuff. What do you take for AAS? Could be liver related.

You sure it’s truly low cortisol you’re experiencing, and not elevated prolactin?
I tested prolactin recently it was like 2 numbers higher than the lowest of the range. Like a 9 on a range (7-17) if I recall. It was definitely almost at bottom of range.

Well I went off everything except 150mg for a year for all of 2022 and the issue did not get any better. Been dealing with this for 2-3 years now. Right now I’m on 750mg test NO orals. I do feel better on Tudca and milk thistle. Any other things you’d recommend for liver?
