Hey guys I’m curious whats the longest you guys have ran a “blast” or cycle for? And what was your experience like? Any negative impact on health? I ask because I’m currently about 16 weeks into a 500mg a week Test E blast. I have to get blood work from my TRT doctor in about 4 weeks, so I’m going to be going back on my TRT dose within a week or so. But I also have NPP and EQ that I havent started yet because of my upcoming bloods.

If blood work comes back normal with only a 4-5 week break, would it be bad if I were to go back on my Test blast and add NPP and EQ for 12 weeks before crusing for 2-3 months?

I know a lot of guys (myself included) who cruise on more than 500mg test/week plus other compounds. I cannot confidently tell you this will be healthy for you however I have had no ill effects from it the past few years. I don’t like to ever convince anyone that cramming more steroids into your body is a good idea for your health however I don’t think at where you’re at it will hurt you unless you really overdo it. The key is listening to your body and getting your blood work done regularly.

A lot of bros have a lot of opinions on this topic, but the honest truth is that nobody has a scientific answer. There is no LD50 for steroids. There has never been a scientific study where humans have been given lethal amounts of steroids on purpose, and due to ethics, that study will never be conducted.

“Would it be bad” is a nebulous phrase that can be taken to mean just about anything. Will a longer blast shut down your natural testosterone production and increase your likelihood of developing secondary hypogonadism? Yes. Will EQ increase your risk of stroke by raising your hematocrit? Yes. Will all AAS contribute to left-ventricular hypertrophy and all the dangers that come along with it? Yes.

Can anyone predict how this will affect your body in particular, or give you any guidance regarding when you’ll cross the line into dangerous health territory? Not really.

All that we have are a series of anonymous anecdotes about cycles and blasts that can’t be used to draw any meaningful scientific conclusion. Dallas McCarver flew too close to the sun with an estimated 10g/wk of test. Phil Heath is still alive. Len Bias had a fatal heart attack at age 22. Human bodies are too incredibly complex to give anything remotely close to an accurate prediction of the kinds of dangers we face at an individual level.

My advice: start slow, taper up slowly, and get regular bloodwork

I would add that it helps to have defined goals, so you have a concrete point at which to stop / PCT / TRT.
