TRT + Anavar No0b Log

First time taking var. Have taken Halo about 8 years ago, but didn't take diet seriously. I still made pretty good gains. This time is different and I will illustrate what I am doing below!

Stats
  • 6'1, 190lbs, and approximately 20% bf when I started
  • Rebounded off a breakup with my girlfriend. Lease is up in a couple months. I am getting back on the prowl.
    • Ate a lot of pizza and drank a lot of alcohol. I cut that shit out 2 weeks ago. I've been on var for the last 7 days.
  • TRT with var
    • I usually take 160mg/ml per week, but I have bumped that up to 200mg/ml per week, alongside of 50mg var daily.
Routine
  • 6 days per week. John Meadows Avalanche Routine.
    • Cardio 3-4 times per week immediately after training.
      • Stair stepper 70% of the time.
        • I am horny. My cardio sucks. So will my lipid profile. Cardio deserves my sweat.
  • Walking outside
    • 75 day hard challenge
  • Starting to stretch at night so I may sleep like a baby, when I have time.

Nutrition
I am not ordering any fast food, pizza, or eating any bullshit on this. I have been drinking approximately 5 liters of water per day. I drink 2 liters at the gym.
Majority of my calories have come from chicken, rice, eggs, and sardines, yougurt, fruit, protein powder...but I have to switch that shit up or develop other cookies recipes.
Thank God I am not picky.


Goals
  • I want to sit down and not have pudge sticking out. This fucks with my confidence.
  • I want to reach PRs on my lifts. All of them really, as I haven't been training consistently and don't have crazy numbers to beat anyway.
    • Basically, get a good headstart on my physique prior to hopping off the var and getting back to a regular dose of TRT.

So far
The last two days on var I can see what people are talking about when they mention tightness. Shout of to @viper-flex, super legit, great T/A, etc etc. among the others who were helping me over at my other tread:

where some sense was smacked into my head as far as running a harsh compound fresh back in the gym. Thanks everyone ITT.

Similar situation here! Question, when you placed your ordered and made the payment How long did it take for them to respond and confirm shipment? It’s been about 9hours since Ive made the payment Lol so getting anxious. Also with the var when you say tightness like is it joint tightness? I’m thinking about upping My Test to 200mg to start how are you feeling in regards to that and flu symptoms?

How long did it take for them to respond and confirm shipment?

Confirmation was within 12 hours. Most emails were sent in the morning hours. I have no complaints, everything was smooth.

Also with the var when you say tightness like is it joint tightness? I’m thinking about upping My Test to 200mg to start how are you feeling in regards to that and flu symptoms?
I have no feelings of brittle and/or dry joints. My muscles feel tight..constantly pumped. It is the same way with my core. A woman tried to casually grab my arm the other day during conversation... The tightness is good and noticable.

As far as the flu symptoms here are the current supplements I am taking while eating clean and drinking a boatload of water:

Supplements
  • Coq10 (heart health)
  • Fish oil (EHA + DHA > 2g per day for joints + brain function)
  • Vitamin C (Immune system benefits)
  • Magnesium
  • Zinc
  • Citrus Bergamot (for Cholesterol)

Hopefully that helped. Feel free to log your journey here too since we are doing the same thing. I have considered bumping the test to 250mg / week, but I feel great right now. I am horny as hell too (thanks var)

Week 2

PROS
  • I am still tight
  • I am getting stronger in all my lifts
  • My appetite has decreased a little (my hunger really increased the first week)
  • I am vascular and see veins in my thighs, even at a slightly higher bf ~15%

CONS
  • I stressed some connective tissue near the knee.
    • My form was pretty good, however, I increased weight on the leg press rapidly. I am just now getting better 4 days later. It was just a little more sore than normal, no biggie.
  • The var doesn't seem to be hitting my abs like I had hoped. I am going to start incorporating direct ab work at least 2x per week.
  • Hunger decreased. It is a good thing for re-comping... I am not counting calories, just eating a lot of rice, chicken, potatoes, red meat, eggs, oatmeal, and protein shakes.

MISC
  • I started taking 50mg three times per day, every 8 hours. Should I just split this up into 2 doses? I am aware that the half-life is 9 hours.
  • I stopped working the John Meadows routine and created my own which consists of supersets at a high volume 6 days per week, on a Chest/Bi, Back/Tri, and Leg/abs routine.

Any questions? So far so good, just have to keep hitting it!

Week 2

So I’m on day 5 of Var and 500mg of test, and MAN the pump and the muscle tightness is INSANE! How are you dealing with the tightness, I picked up some taurine, but man it’s tough 😂. Hoping after the first week things mellow out!
