Is there any research on testosterone or steroids in general and how they affect the immune system? I've been sick 9 times in the last 15 months and previously only once in the last decade. Now, my life has changed quite a bit in the last year with stress and such but this just doesnt seem right for how healthy I eat and well I take care of myself. I've denied that trt has any effect but I am trying to make sure. I've been on trt for 4 years and no previous illnesses prior to the stressful events in my life happening which someone fo you will point out that then it's not the trt but previously I worked from home and didn't have much exposure to people. I now work in heathcare, which could explain it but still, 9 times in 15 months seems excessive af. All respiratory, coughs runny nose, etc.

I’ve read it can have effects on the immune system! I take Vitamin C, Zinc and D3 daily that seems to help me a lot! Those 3 support immune system!!

Almost everyone that seeks medical attention is sick. You have to take better precautions for yourself.

I’ve heard that being on test (whether it’s exogenous or super physiological doses I can’t remember) causes your immune system to become somewhat suppressed. I can’t remember If I read that or heard it.

Testosterone has made me stronger. I’ve been on TRT for over 15 years more like blast and cruise. Growing up I had severe allergies to pollen, weeds, dust etc. later in life Zyrtec and Claritin came out those worked but as I got on TRT, I decided to stop taking the Zyrtec and I’ve been allergy free for the past 10 years. Did the Zyrtec cure me? I don’t know. I possibly could’ve suffered from low T all my life and now that I’m on TRT (blast and cruise) I feel the best I’ve ever felt. And I’ve gotten Covid a few times the past couple of years and after that I seem to get sinus infections more and headaches which I never used to get. I really do believe Testosterone took away my allergies! So I’m convinced it helps strengthen the immune system for me anyway.

I was diagnosed with Covid when I was running Test E/Anavar. Just after my PCT, I had my bloods done, and I had low Zinc, and vitamin D levels. Just like the other post said, vitamin C, Zinc and D3 helps greatly. I'd also add in Magnesium & B Vitamins if you don't consume red meat/organ meat.
