Hi all.

I was wondering what are your "must haves" when it comes to supplementation and why they are your must haves. I'm looking to potentially add some in. I would like to avoid any stimulants. If you could also add in the company you trust, that would be helpful. In the past, I have primarily stuck with NOW Foods and Beverly International but it's been a while since I've been in this game.

Bloodwork and labs:
Vitamin D is on the lower end of the norm.
A1C was 5.3 about 5 months ago. I would like to get this down or at least manage it.
LDL is a little elevated but doctor isn't concerned. At the time the test was taken, my diet was shit and it was during a time of prolonged inactivity.
Blood Pressure - Can be elevated due to a medication I take. Most recent in the doctor office was 130/87 (April). Prior to this medication, it was routinely perfect or "low" - 102/70 (March).

Supplement
Dosage
Brand
Duration
Magnesium Oxide
1 Gram
Natures Bounty
3+ Years
Berberine Hydrochloride
1200 mg
Spring Valley
10 Days
Whey Protein
1-2 Scoops daily
True Nutrition
5 + Years

The Berberine was added in recently primarily to help with managing blood sugar but I have also read there's benefits for blood pressure.

TLDR - What are your must have supplements, the reason why and your company for them.

Leviathan Nutrition makes some really good support supps. Will, the owner, is a trained chemist and gear head. Check them out

800+ mg is a laxative dose of mag oxide

Is that why you're taking it?

As far as brands are concerned, my go-to's are Jarrow and Life Extension

They both have customer service reps to answer emails and send you testing if they have it

NOW also seems good

Never heard of Beverly International

Haha, no this isn't the reason nor does the dose have any impact on that.

Initially started taking it for heartburn and sleep/relaxation and just never stopped since it was dirt cheap.

Bro those are some of the most overpriced supplements I've ever seen in my life 🤣
I mean, for the ingredient combo and doses, it's not bad. I don't buy from their site though. I get them from natural body inc. A bit cheaper.

What do you recommend then?

Bro they are TERRIBLE prices for the cost. You can get double the ingredients for 2-3× the length individually. He sells a 30 day supply of omega3s for SIXTY DOLLARS. I recommend not buying supplements from these hack Internet gurus and stick to the old tried and true low key brands like NOW, even bulk supplements would be a million times better than this leviathan guy.

His omega3 product is expensive because it has AvailOM in it. Not something to gloss over and compare to NOW foods lol. Yes it's expensive, you're right, but absorption can be an issue with omega 3s.

Another good brand is Infinis. They have some good support supps and are coming out with more. NOW has its place, but not in comparison to some of Leviathan and Infinis' products.

High-quality support supps that are dosed properly and have good absorption are worth their weight in gold, and are often ignored by gear heads.

Absorption is fine taking omega 3's with a meal

Agreed. I said it can be an issue.

Looking into the AvailOm product rn and it's FFA, not TG or PL.

FFA requires a special delivery vehicle and they say it works on an empty stomach (a bragging point?)

Taking EPA/DHA in TG (fish or algae oil) or PL (krill oil) or FFA (AvailOm) is fine with a mixed meal.

Don't take on an empty stomach. Problem solved.

This conversation isn't about Omega 3s anyway lmao. Did you read the rest of the comments? This was in response to OP's question about supplementation must-haves. Being on gear, support supps become paramount.

LOL a mildly better absorbing omega3, GTFO with that bullshit to try to justify a 60 dollar omega3.

These bullshit artist supplement hawks are ignored by us because we just take 5% more of the normal supplement for 500% less the price for the same affect.

Retatrutide will lower your A1C and your BP. I’ve seen it in myself and others. My BP averages 115/60 since I’ve started taking it. That’s on cycle while using EQ.

Berberine is a great supplement as well.

My go to supplement list is short
Creatine
Retatutride
Multi vitamin
Omega3

Thanks for the reply! That's awesome to hear about your BP being that low while on cycle. I should have mentioned, I'm not on any AAS or plan to be, at least for now, haha. I anticipate running some GH in the very near future, so that is why I am somewhat hung up on my A1C.

I have to do my due diligence on Retatrutide. I keep reading all these positives and really haven't seen anyone have a significant negative. Has it impacted your appetite at all?

You took one example and got a hard-on. You can't come up with any other examples of better or ostensibly cheaper alternatives than what Leviathan or Infinis have. How retarded do you have to be to ignore the importance of support supps. You cheap out on them too 😂

Caffeine and kilos and their $39.99 caffeine product is such a better value. You're right.

I understand that! GH is great for me. It took about 3 months for me to notice it really working.

Week one on a small dose (1mg) of Reta made me forget to eat. Then when I’d remember I would eat half my food and lose interest. This was on my last cut where I was already at 2k calories a day. It blocked the food noise completely. I had to set my alarm to remind me to eat.
Week two I started splitting the dose and did .5mg twice a week. The effects were similar but I could finish my meals. Fat just started to fall off me by week 3.
After 6 weeks I bumped my dose to 3mg a week and dosed it daily with my GH. I’ve stayed at 3mg a week for several months now. My blood work looks great. My LDL and HDL have improved.

There’s a bunch of stuff on YouTube. Look up Paul Barnett and his videos about it. He’s diabetic and it’s made a ton of difference for him.

I don't ignore supplementation, I ignore hacks and shills. Cheap supplements have been around forever and have survived through a million grifters, I don't NEED to list anything. Buy what you want, get that big ole booty hole stretched out by your favorite fella all you want. I'll be over here saving money
