I have a long time friend who was a natural bodybuilding competitor. I know he is natural . Yet I find his physique amazing to be drug free . He always pressured me to drop roids and compete with him naturally lol I was like fuk that lol but I admire what he achieved naturally and so I asked him to help me in the final 3 months for my show .

The goal from my beginning was to bring a gem from the 70s and mold it into a polished diamond with cracks repaired with gold .

Within a week of time off of training, muscle start to lose their adaptations and attrophy. You'd probably be better off just lowering volume considerably and doing a handful of hard sets per body part instead. Lower fatigue but don't lose any progress, even if the loss would be minimal.

Then slowly ramp the volume back up over a period of weeks while maintaining intensity and progressive overload.

Just my opinion.

Yep I posted pics of my legs but u guys never said anything since I guess u all wanted more reasons to criticize
I definitely missed it, but just went back and took a look. Legs don’t look terrible, but you’re definitely going to want to put a focus on adding more mass to them. If you can do that, you’ll do really well at the show.
Create a day (or split it into 2 days) that’s dedicated to legs only.

Besides that, if you’re still in a grow phase and are maintaining a low bodyfat, you should push your calorie intake above 3800/day. Your metabolism can handle it and you should see more significant growth.

Happy Friday buddy

It takes longer than a week. It starts slowly at 2, then is fully in place at 4. Week off is fine.

but yes I agree. You can lower volume with same intensity or lower both just to keep moving instead of staying away.

Yes I have went a month off and still looked exactly the same from gear and all .

I always take a week off from every thing every 8 weeks it’s how I recharge . It works for me . And then I come back brand new each time .
