OTC pain reliever while on Anavar?

I've got a pretty serious ache in my back/shoulder area, I'm 90% sure it's just a muscle that I've pulled a little too hard. It's lingering a bit, I've had to alter my lifting schedule to let it heal.

I would love to take some kind of otc pain reliever like Advil or Tylenol but I'm a bit hesitant as I'm running Anavar 25mg twice daily (50mg/day). I'm taking NAC and Tudca. Any advice on what I could take for some relief without causing more stress on kidney/liver?

I'm just toughing it out for the moment.

Try taking some turmeric or curcumin supplement, do some foam rolling and lacrosse boll rolling around your scapula and shoulder. It sound like something in your scapula or shoulder is really inflamed. Get some of those rubber bands and do external & internal rotation exercises with them. Also, maybe consider some bpc 157 or gh (or gh releasing peptides).

I've been cautious of too much stimulation in the area. I've had my girlfriend massage it a few times which feels great and is helpful. Maybe I'll try hitting the roller tonight.

Funny you mention the bpc157. I just ordered some, also tb500. It's new to me but I'm interested.

Stimulation from exercises or the gear? Massage is very helpful, especially when they find the right spot and really press into it. Rollers are great but you should really get a lacrosse ball and maybe a theracane, they're amazing for targeting specific spots. Even massage guns can be quite helpful.

That's great you ordered them! I have heard pretty great things about them. Stay consistent on the rolling/lacrosse ball and you should keep getting better. Best of luck with getting back to 100%!

There's no drug interaction between oxandrolone and aspirin, ibuprofen, acetaminophen (also called paracetamol depending on your country, US brand name Tylenol), or naproxen (Aleve).

If you're worried about kidney injury (which is more likely than liver injury from Anavar), stick with Tylenol. If you have a liver injruy, take ibuprofen.

I meant stimulation from massage/etc. I'm not totally convicted massage or stretching is always a good idea. I know it SEEMS like a good idea, but I swear in the past I've aggregated injuries by trying to help them. I approach it cautiously.

You'll be fine with Tylenol (Acetaminophen). The max recommended 24hr dosage is 3g, when in reality the threshold is 4g in a 24 hr period. Any more than that and you'll start having issues. Even if you're maxed out on Var, a 700mg dose of Tylenol a couple times a day isn't gonna do any damage.
