If you would re-read my post, it simply states that while here at SST there are more guardrails in place than other boards and so when asking questions of a source, we can do so civilly, without Meso’s methods.

Whose word do you take then on the safety of your gear? That statement makes no sense. If you don’t trust anyone but yourself, it would appear you’re home brewing. And even then you’d need to trust your raws supplier.

If you like Meso and the fact that anyone with a bathtub, some Chinese raws, and a kid’s starter science kit can open shop, by all means be my guest.

Do other boards have mod teams at all?

Were you personally affected by Hunter’s lack of comms? I believe we, and personally I, took every unsent pack complaint we received and got it handled. All of which was due to user error like not paying enough BTC to the auto wallet. Lack of comms is understandably frustrating and I’m still working with Hunter to address. What would other boards be doing in that aspect? Would Millard of Meso step in and get folks taken care of like that? Or would the other boards simply ban him and then no one gets anything?

I must ask, if you don’t trust the mod team, why are you on SST vs another board? It is because we have a vetting process, that we’ve come to expect civility. That’s the SST difference.

To ask a question about something and to be a dick about it are very different things. I didn’t say not to ask questions. You’re making a choice of which oil to inject into your body and you need to be comfortable with it. We alleviate SOME of that risk through our vetting process. Nobody gets through without having the right tools, processes, testing etc.

As far as how we expect you to act, I’ve said it a few times now. But civilly would be my answer. If a source doesn’t answer an appropriate question with a response you feel is appropriate for you, then move on to another source. There’s no need at that point to be rude or even continue the conversation, right?
