I’m 5’9 200lbs with visible abs and vascular so not high bf %. I’m having trouble keeping bp to a healthy level. Recent reading was 157/81 and it’s typically around that more or less. I take cialis 20mg, telmisartan 80mg, l citruline 5g, and beet root powder 6g per day.

Current dosage of AAS is 300mg test, 350mg primo, 2iu gh, and taking bpc and tb

This was my reading prior to donating blood. My rbc and hematocrit were elevated. Not sure if those being high contributes to the HBP

Honestly it’s limited to high intensity training and taking the dog out for walks

I am pretty shocked that your BP can be that high even while taking Telmisartan 80mg.

Maybe BP monotherapy isn't working you could try adding in a second BP med like Amlodipine. Some PCT vendors carry Telmaheal 40-AM which is Telmisartan (40mg) + Amlodipine (5mg).

I would personally drop the L Citruline and Beet Root Powder if you're only using those for BP since it seems they are ineffective and cost more than BP meds do.

Yea I’m confused as to why it’s still running that high. E2 is in range so I’m not retaining water.

Do they sell amlodipine on its own? I’d give that a try at 5mg/day along with the telmisartan 80mg

They do for sure, I just think it's cool that there's a product that has both in one pill.

You can find it at PCT vendors on here for pretty cheap. You could also just go to a doctor instead and get it for free with insurance. Most docs probably would not bat an eye if you just straight up asked for it after they test your blood pressure.

Any secondary blood pressure med should be helpful though even if it's not Amlodipine, I just mentioned it because it's a popular combination for PED users to use the two together.

I would up the cardio to daily sessions. 80mg telmisartin stil didn’t get me into range. Added 6 days week 25-30mins on the air bike got mine down from ~140/90 to always under 120/80, resting of course. I check mine daily.
I believe high BP is the biggest killer.

I wanted to piggy back on this to ask a question. My BP is up on cycle, but I'm hoping it's going to drop back down on cruise. If it's just high from being on cycle, can I stay on BP meds short term? Or is it permanent?

It’s not permanent unless other factors in your life have gotten worse since you started your cycle. I.e. diet, stress, weight gain, cardiovascular fitness, etc. But you shouldn’t quit cold turkey either. You should taper off and monitor your BP. Coming off the meds can cause issues akin to withdrawal such as headaches, anxiety, Myocardial ischemia
and even a temporary but substantial increase in BP.

Thanks, I'm near the end of my cycle so I'm going to gut it out as long as it doesn't rise anymore (135/85 at noon) but I'm also going to order some telmisartan to have on hand. I would also just bite the bullet and go to the doc (and not mention this) if my BP doesn't come down on cruise.

Test/eq/primo I think it was the eq. I recently upped that and lowered primo and that's when I started getting headaches and feeling tightness.

Yea. Likely the EQ. It’s known to have that effect. My test/Primo BP is under control with 20mg Telmisartan. 115/75. I like the cardio benefits of Telmisartan. I’m not sure I’ll stop taking it even after this cycle.
