Low responder?

1613ng/dL total test, 584.5 pg/mL free test on 700mg/wk test prop from colonial, I was thinking my previous source under doses my test but after trying colonial there was only a 300+ increase in total test so I’m assuming I’m either a low responder but I was told that my free test is actually pretty high and I’m a good responder, is total test more important to determine your response? And if I am a low responder to test, would adding in something like nandrolone, ment, or even tren be better for reaching my goals? I’ve made decent gains my first cycle but moving forward I’d like to push it a little more but I’m not sure if being a low responder would make that pointless to do?

How long after pinning do you draw? Prop clears very quickly. 700mg/week cypionate or enanthate would probably give you a much different result after 4-6 weeks.

@LightningLeg it was about 36 hours after test prop, I usually pin after work before bed (work overnights) but this time I waited till after I woke up and got bloods, I probably should have pinned my regular schedule but wasn’t sure if the drop would be very substantial

Typical elimination t½ for prop is ~ 20 hours. At 36 hours post there should be about 28% of the active drug left in your system for that day. Assuming I did my Chem math right, the extra 12 hours could’ve dropped you down to 50mg active drug compared to 177mg active drug. How this reflect in blood levels is different person-to-person but if you’re unlucky it could result in as low as 1/3 of the test showing up in labs.

@sebanwit didn’t take Ester weight into consideration so values of hormone will be smaller but ratio should be the same.

@swolleymolley9090 honestly pinning ED is ideal with almost any ester. But with prop I think it’s crucial to pin everyday. I’ve hardly used it because I don’t think it’s worth the fuss. I hate pinning every day so I’ve been doing enanthate every other day, and that way i know if I miss a shot it’s not really a big deal and my test levels won’t instantly crash.

@LightningLeg I normally do pin ED but for some reason I thought it would be better to wait and didn’t even think. Only using test p because a previous source I was using had underdosed test so about 7 weeks of my cycle I was barely over natty levels so I got test P to makeup for those 7 weeks without needing to wait for Enanthate to kick in completely again

blood testing provides a panel of of markers including testosterone. it provides a snapshot of the blood at a moment in time.

please explain how test levels being at a certain level means you are a “low responder” since to me a low responder is someone who cant gain and has shitty results when the effort and consistency is there - its genetics. not someone who believes some magic numbers in a blood panel are lower.
