Localbitcoin requiring ID

How are you guys buying your BTC these days? I got a message from localbitcoin saying my trade volume is too high and I need to verify my identity to continue to purchase coins.

And dont say coinbase, theyre known for sending you a w2 or some sort of tax forms and notifying the IRS after a certain trade limit.

$20K with at least 200 transactions in a years time. They send you and the IRS a 1099.

And you are moving over $20k a year? That seems over-the head of most users here (sources excluded obviously, but I doubt they will divulge OPSEC stuff).

Not at all. I’m not buying any more BC than I need. I’ve been buying a couple hundred USD here and there with Coinbase then trasferring to blockchain wallet, then paying out from there.
