Is oral var upsetting your stomach? I've heard of injectable var but haven't seen a source for it. How high is your dose and, if you don't mind elaboration, what are your stomach symptoms?I’m also interested in injectable var due to stomach issues.
youre a smart guy, so this might be stupid, but have you tried just letting it dissolve under your tounge? i was told that bypasses the first round on the liver and it wont be in your stomach? enlighten me pleaseI’m also interested in injectable var due to stomach issues.
That is not entirely true. The first pass effect will reduce blood plasma concentration of an orally administered drug because it is entering the hepatic portal system before going into the system circulation. An intramuscular injection is going to go through the systemic circulation before the hepatic portal system. You are correct that an injection dosage can be lower than an oral dosage because a percentage of the drug is not lost to the first pass effect. So, here's the thing... Injections do not bypass the liver. Injections enable you to use less of a given drug which in turn will lessen the affect on the liver. If you take 100mg of a steroid orally it's gonna do the same damage as 100mg injected. The thing your supposed to do is inject between 10-20% less drug which will be utilized as if you took 100% orally
I just can't actually find any literature that shows lowered liver interaction with the drug to lower the stress caused. Only the interaction with the stomach/intestineThat is not entirely true.
