Is it illegal to possess Lisinopril and HCTZ?

I don’t have a prescription for it, I buy my Lisinopril and hctz from Indian pharma. If I am pulled over by the cops and they find them in my backpack, would that be illegal? Would I get arrested? I live in Oklahoma, US by the way.

I go back and forth from staying at my house or my girlfriends and I usually keep a few in my backpack in case I forget.

1. You shouldn’t be putting yourself in a situation to be subjected to search. Don’t consent to any searches
2. Those 2 drugs aren’t scheduled. It’s a misdemeanor to have it without a prescription, but most DAs won’t even waste time trying to prosecute you for it

I would pop them out of their blisters and have them in some sort of little vitamin pill bottles. Can use a sharpie and write a note around the barcode to identify. IF you were stopped, and IF you were searched, they’ll just find vitamins in vitamin bottles. Do not put both in the same bottle though, then they’ll start digging with questions.

As mentioned, you don’t have to consent to be searched. They can’t forcibly search you without probable cause that you have committed, are committing, or will commit a crime. Don’t be a douchebag like the youtube “auditors” being shitters about their (our) rights just to be dicks. Be polite and respectful in asserting your rights.

I had a case where I was completely illegally pulled over for a made up reason by unmarked detectives and was in a position where they knew they could abuse the law and search my car and I couldnt say anything and I had a few pharm grade aromasin tabs and they didnt care…all they cared about was if I had heroine for some reason? Was an entirely absurd situation to begin with and even if they wanted to try and actually cite me for those few tabs of aromasin on an illegal stop to begin with the DA would have literally laughed at it.

Most of the time if you just keep all of the same type of pills in a vitamin or mineral bottle youre fine, and I severely doubt any cop would try and arrest you for having fucking lisinopril unless he was a rookie cop and in which case the rookie cop would probably be in more trouble than you from his superiors.

I toss mine in a 7 day pill planner with my other orals and some random supps like bronkaid and nodoze. Act like you’re supposed to have it and they aren’t going to give a shit.

I would think it’s a non issue to be honest, they’re prescription but they’re not schedule drugs by any measure…water pill and BP med would probably be betony low on the priority list…

Aside from that, HIPPA, your medical information is confidential unless they get a release for that information
